JR has a distinct style, sometimes he has hits as well as misses. I'm looking forward to the battles as well, but I have a feeling that some key players may die during this arc.
I saw a page at comicvine for the "New X-Men" kids during this event. Is X-23 gonna do something about this?
lol@ the Sentinel (its the good one) and its relationship with the mutants.
Well I just had the feeling that someone was going to die when I found out that certain characters were going to off into space to try and stop the Phoenix force from making it to Earth. I really only saw one that should make it out alive if this team confronts it, and that may be Thor. Cheers to the underdogs. Wow.

Who do you think is going to win the Strange/Magik fight? So far the fights have been PREDICTABLE!
No idea. For some reason, I can see that fight actually being done right. A lot of the other ones are mismatches that will have some PIS going down to say the least.

Yeah, WTF was that. "You haven't met tony stark if you think that.".I thought at first that it was written by bendis but it was aaron.
A lot of them were trying to just throw quantifiable feats at us and most of them don't even make sense or are so far outside the norm it's ridiculous.
But at least Marvel's being honest and promoting AvX for what it is; a giant ass fight issue.

Its not very interesting though outside of vs board mentality.
I'm enjoying the book. It's pretty cheesy in a lot of parts (Like Tony's microsopic nanobots that Emma breathed in) but I'm finding the Cyclops/Cap fight and dialogue to actually be interesting. And I totally geeked out when Magneto threw Colossus for a fastball special.
Other dialogue was terrible though... Like between Black Panther and Storm, lol. I facepalmed at the "Now you see why we need a marriage counselor" (or whatever it was) comment.
I'm looking forward to seeing where it all goes. I did expect a little more from Magneto and hope that we get to him really go all out. And I thought him and Ironman were actually supposed to fight. That was barely even a tease.
I like how Cyke shook off a cheapshot shield throw... because that makes sense.
I also like how the X-Men have actually destroyed the Phoenix before, and see it as a bad thing... and the ****ing thing is destroying planets in the series, yet Cyclops wants it on his side just because it might farther mutants. The strong chance it kills everyone doesn't matter because MUTANTS!
Stupid premise.
Anyway, this series isn't very good, but I can see the "fun" in it. Personally the most interesting part of it for me is seeing what happens with the Phoenix, and I'm not a fan of Phoenix so...
