...so how in the hell does that give you the impression that current Thor can't replicate the same feat as before outside of you, for whatever reason, thinking he can't?Prove to me that Classic Thor is stronger than Current Thor.
sentry's helicarrier incident (despite your snide view) gives us a good approximation of how much a herald class like thor would lift

And that makes him weaker...how?
By your logic, Superman requiring the aid of dozens of Kryptonians to stop Brainiac's ship from crashing into New Krypton would mean that he's weaker than the Superman who lifted infinite weight in Final Crisis or helped move Maggedon.

See you nailed it right on the head. Yes Thor can damage the Hulk, but blatantly saying things like the Hulk won't be able to mount an offense because he would never be able to overcome the storms that Thor whips up, the lightning arcs, anti force bolts, or the God blast is simply or should i say, blatantly disregarding the Hulk's past capabilities of resisting forces that could have been just as great, or even greater. Carver's posting of Vector and his reality repelling feat is a very strong argument, and shouldn't be discounted.
And by that same token, the Hulk feats shouldn't discount the Thor ones. It goes both ways, like you said.

it's like you WANT people to give you abuse. Seriously.

I don't know; what's an impressive lifting feat for Doomsday or Darkseid or any one of a dozen other herald characters.
Your logic is faulty, especially when you have more than one avenue to explore and define a character's strength.
What was Superman's last great lifting feat? Do we assume because he hasn't towed any planets recently that he couldn't do the starbreaker feat or push warworld? No, we don't.

Yet Fing Fang Foom was fine? That feat isn't very good at at all. Nothing compared to Thor's that tore trhough CK. Foom was alive and well. He just hit the barrier with force enough to break it.
Foom had a wish that put him at a power level we don't even know of. Let's put it like this...Strange couldn't even stop Foom and everyone had to rely on Hulk to do so. Then Foom was backed by a wishing well that granted him immortality. It broke through a dimensional barrier that was put into place by Umar to hold back an entire species of class 100's.

Im not saying thor has to have a feat every year...but if he hasn't had any lifting feats in 10 years, that says something.
also DD and darkseid have far fewer appearances, so they're not comparable. if superman doesn't have any lifting feats in ten years, then yeah, he prob needs a downgrade too.

So, according to you Captain America and Batman are stronger than Mangog?

And he's had really bad ones too.
Thor has been dead on and off for quite a while, and lifting feats are not a prerequisite for strength.
They are comparable, because it's the same principle. Not every strong character has lifting feats. Aquaman has less than a half dozen, but his strength is well defined. Darkseid has plenty of appearances, but f*ck all lifting feats. Black Adam only has a few, yet we don't discount them from being uber strong.

Originally posted by carver9That better not be you implying Foom was > Thor. 😐 Please show me the context of Strange being unable to stop Foom. Even so it's nothing that impressive. Strange isn't near what he was. Immortality does not equal invulnerability. If that TC was so powerful it would have blown Foom to bits just like in the dark demension. You overhype that feat but its nothing compared to what Thor did. Thor would take a TC on that level with monir damage. The hulk would turned to cinders.
