What's the difference in power though? Please explain.
Silver Age Thor is the one with a dial-a-plot-device power set. He cut off Juggernauts powers, for example, and absorbed Magneto's force field.
He also destroyed Celestial armor, and drove off Galactus.
Too many ways for this Thor to defeat Hulk, in ways he'd have no defense against. Bfr is an easy one, he can't punch a portal. Or he could freeze time in a farm sized area.

Scans of Thor not doing something? How about the fact Magnus controlled Thor's hammer in a more modern story, apparently forgetting Mjolnir can nullify em powers?
There's a laundry list of powers he's never done before. The same way John Stewart teleported in the Furnus Burning Martian story, and never again when it was established teleporting is a Compassion spectrum thing.

How is that a knock against Thor? Wouldnt that be against the enchantment? Do you not understand my question?
Theres a laundry list of powers Darkseid, Captain Marvel, Silver Surfer, Orion, hell, even Apocalypse haven't use in a while. Are they weakened as well?

Little to no difference.
Except for the fact modern Thor uses next to none of his exotic powers, and fights exclusively as a brick with a club, who occasionally uses offensive lightning.
Look at the way he used a portal on Count Nefaria, and compare him to every fight from the last decade such as against Sentry, It's all hammer throw, club, club, club, lightning.
