Bleach was great though. I love the idea that Quincy absorb reishi consequently sending out a wave of "lack of reiatsu" rather than reiatsu when they're powerful. I'm also glad to see that Kirge was unfazed by Ichigo's blow, and that the Leztz Still is different from what we've previously seen. I wondered why they didn't summon Ayon previously, and presumed that he remained dead. This battle is turning out to be interesting.

Often for ninja, utility trumps power. Most of the Sound 5 techs centered around shaping the environment and is meant to give Kabuto the ability to shape the battlefield the way he desires. The obvious exceptions are Tayuya's genjutsu(which Kabuto seems to have improved on) and Sakon's tech(which lets him use the Sound 5 techs.

Indeed, I thought Bleach was good, if a bit short.

He's in Sage mode- anything he does will be amped.

Well I guess it helps but even hard-core pervs had to call BS when Shigure won a jousting match topless and on a motorcycle.

This latest chapter wrapped up a kick-ass fight pretty well.

The thing about Bleach is... even though it's just fine, so little happens!

But in Naruto, though something happened, it was something bad.

I didn't find it bad. We knew Itachi had been trying to set up the jutsu for quite awhile.

It gave a character with some of the most broken jutsu in the manga yet another really broken jutsu, one that if it is activated apparently has no defense. He used it to end what was once an entertaining fight that actually showed how much Kabuto's strength has grown, in such a boring way.

Plus I seriously suspect it is a YYH rip.

OP is setting down good sh_t.

Naruto is your average end-of-fight plot crap.

It's a slow-activation jutsu with a high permanent cost, so it doesn't bother me.

^ Don't forget the time limit Izanami is supposed to have, though it could be something like Tsukuyomi, where a time dilation occurs in the person's mind.

The more important part is that it ended the fight in a boring and cheap way.
