Where did it state a time limit? I must have missed it?

Naruto had it's best chapter ever, so no competition here.

Nah...Naruto kind of sucked though since the first wave of Izanami hate is now past, it wasn't as bad as last weeks. Still pretty bad though.

So for this week I rank the arc in the following:

1. One Piece
2. Bleach
3. Naruto

Oh and I started reading Rosario + Vampire for some reason. Sure the fanservice is pretty heavy on top of being a harem series the Fairy Tale arc, no pun intended, has actually turned out to be pretty cool.

In fact considering how I can tolerate this, I might try Negima again.

1. Fairy Tail -Take care of those in your guild!
2. Bleach -Pretty cool techniques
3. One Piece -Low action, but alliance, neat
4. Naruto -Felt like just an extension of last weeks. Explained what happened, but not a lot new

I'm calling it in advance- Fairy Tail over all. It'd have to be an absolutely incredible week to top that.

I'm currently powering through chapter 4 and 5.

Considering both you and Q99 like this series I'm willing to give it another shot. I am currently reading Rosario + Vampire after all.

The fighting starts at the vampire arc, ironically 🙂 And continues to get more impressive as time goes on.

The ending is a bit rushed (due to wanting to avoid RL legal complications with the rights), but Akamatsu is also talking about possibly reviving it.

Skip to the battle festival which is in the 20's i think

Nothing of value before that really

Kyoto has some nice bits itself.

And there's character development and all that.

Kyoto introduces Setsuna.

That's basically all the reason needed to read it.

And personally I liked the vampire saga and the Chachamaru it gave us.

What point it clicks for someone seems to vary.

I agree, the Evangeline arc is where it really started to improve, and made Chachamaru one of my favorite characters.

Basically, vol 1 is random hijinks. Vol 2 is the library island arc, which sets the stage for some other stuff but is mostly a light-hearted romp. Vol 3 is the vampire arc. Vol 4-6 is Kyoto.

For my Negima update, so far I've made it into the Kyoto arc and I'm impressed with the loli vampire and middle school samurai. I'm going to keep powering through to see if it really does get any better.

Though I am starting to question whether or not the better manga series is; the one with a harem of monster chicks that can't take a hint or the on that involves middle school girls trying to **** a 10 year old.
