It gives you things to get excited for. ๐Ÿ˜›

And stuff to get disappointed over ๐Ÿ˜‰

And anticipation over how many arms Kubo will sever this arc.

$10 on lucky number 7.

Oh, they're finely done setup, but it's about awesome stuff that is going to happen, rather than stuff happening now.

A manga needs setup beats to make the high beats sharper, but a setup beat still gives us less to rave about right now.

The set-up is the awesome stuff happening. Seeing Sasuke become a wild card is just as awesome as seeing what he eventually decides to do. Seeing Madara wander off to go collect Naruto for himself, meaning that we might see Madara turn on Tobi, is awesome. Knowing that Orochimaru is coming back and that he is somehow going to be a key player, is awesome.

Part of the experience is the suspense. If I just saw Orochimaru pop out of nowhere and be all like "Sasuke, here's important stuff to tell you blahblah" then I wouldn't have anything to look forward to next week.

Oh, I quite agree, suspense is important too, but I still feel the payoff weeks to be the best.

Unless they're disappointing or poorly handled.

In which case, you'll probably enjoy this week more, since it'll be all hopes and no disappointment. lol

Yea, good setup beats poor delivery ๐Ÿ™‚

But good delivery does tie with good setup. 559 is still one of the best Naruto chapters and it's both good delivery and good setup.

That wouldn't be the case because of dat ass now would it:

Speaking of which, why is Naruto back in his Chakra Mode form? We've yet to see him do anything impressive in Kyūbi Mode.

Maybe the Kyuubi is running low on chakra.

My guess is that since the buddy-buddy relation between Kurama and Naruto is relatively new, they've yet to get used to it. That one Bijudama took a lot out of Naruto and I'm guessing that he's using the energy from the clones to regain his old chakra cloak.

Though why Naruto's using this version instead of the latest one is beyond me. I will not that this is an impressive strength feat considering how he matched Bee's upper-cut while he was in his Hachibi form.

Ichigo never ran low on Chakra;

Only more proof of who the superior protagonist is out of the two.

For me, Onpiece > Naruto > Toriko.

Toriko shits on one piece and naruto

Ichiryu's only competition was the mighty stache of whitebeard and he is long gone

Now the dragon's stache reigns supreme

They did comment earlier that they could only maintain it for a few minutes.

Also we did miss a good deal of fighting between him and the other biju.

Errr...He did handle 5 Bijuu, and matched their combined power in a shorter amount of time then they were able to reach it. ๐Ÿ˜• How is that not impressive?

Sand bagging bijuu

Not a single one of them even fought at 20% potential
