Obito can hate the world for whatever reason, there are so many jerks in that universe that he is more or less justified, and also he seems to really think the world would be better after his actions -so his plan may actually be different from Madara's-
Also, OP was cool, specially Tashigi being fodder once again. I hope that by now everybody aknowledges that she just sucks at fighting.
Lesse, ranking's kinda hard this time... they were almost entirely all setup or in Naruto's case flashback.
Yamato scrags mooks. Obito does an attack jutsu and Madara shos up. Fairy Tail has foreshadowing on, like, four different plot threads. OP has Vergo scragging mooks, but both Vergo and Caesar being hit in the face.
I'll just declare OP in front and behind that a three way tie.

I expected more from chapter 600 to be honest. Well, at least Madara finally arrived. Though I thought Madara was going to take the nine-tailed beast for himself but it looks as he teamed up with Obito.
A lot happen in Bleach, but I think it was a bit rushed. I'd rather have had Juhabach's and Yamamoto's battle postponed for another ten chapters so we could give two to three chapters worth of content to the other captains, especially if Mayuri finds a way to disable those pesky emblems, having the remaining captains releasing their bankai. At least we'll get to see Yamamoto's bankai.

Nothing happened except Yama revealing his Bankai.

Which was stupid unless he has a way to counter them taking it. And if he does, then its still stupid that he didn't tell anyone about it and let them get their Bankai's stolen like a bunch of chumps.
My problem with the chapter was Yamamoto torching three other guys, one of whom was an engaging villain that killed Byakuya. I mean...save As Nodt for like Ichigo or Rukia or Renji. They have a connection to him.
But no, Yamamoto got to torch him because we didn't know how badass he was before. Not like it matters. The plot can't proceed without Yamamoto being incapacitated.

What about the death of three Stern ritters and the revealing of the Juhabach's zanpakutō?
Nothing important happened.
When you treat characters like fodder I register them as fodder. And as Aura said, they shouldn't have been treated as such in the first place. So its both lame and stupid. But I suppose the fact that Bach uses a zanpakuto instead of the standard Quincy bow is worth noting.

What if he figured out that it wouldn't work on his bankai after the others's were stolen?
How would he do that? He wasn't in the area for any of that. If he was then he's a massive prick for not helping them out in their fights.
I could care less.
This is a war. People are supposed to die- sometimes far quicker and anti-climatically than you would expect.
I don't need every single bad guy to be some kind of uber boss-villain who can handle half the cast, and since it's a war, it's to be expected that we're going to to see some chapters that focus exclusively on combat with little to no plot progression. When was the last time every battle in a fight was a critical one?
Ya'll need to lighten up and stop thinking of this as only one story. Bleach is a setting, not just one adventure, and it probably won't end for another year or two anyway. Deal with it.
If As Nodt wasn't going to be important, why have him kill Byakuya? Why go into detail about how his powers work and establishing him as a threat? If there are going to be other, more important bad guys, then let them do the important stuff and get the screentime. Don't waste the audiences time establishing a character that you won't do anything with.
Oh, that was the guy who KOed Byakuya?
Kinda an odd choice, yea. I guess Kubo was thinking that having any of them win ups the general threat impression from the lot?
Lesse, how many of them have been taken down... four by the Captain General. Three by Kenpachi. And the guy in Hueco Mundo.
They do seem to drop fairly fast. Though being lettered, I guess there's 26 of them?
