Hm, at the start it was 13 captains, 12 VC, lost the three evil-captains, regained the three Vizord captains, plus Rukia got promoted, so 13 and 13, plus Ichigo, plus the 4 vizord VCs, plus Ikkaku's still VC level, plus Yoruichi and Urahara are on good terms again.
So they seem to be up three captains and 5 VC in raw number (though Yoruichi, Urahara, and the vizord VCs seem to hang on Earth).
Though, hm, the leader's not lettered. So 27.
We didn't really learn much in Naruto other than that Madara has an IV drip pumping tree fluids into his veins, and that he already gave his eyes away — presumably to Nagato.
Bleach was a lot better though. I was afraid of that we were going to get some tedious explanation of how the ability works, but no dice. Yamamoto isn't explaining shit.
Bleach is pretty easily last. Besides a fight that's just not really very interesting to watch, Yamamoto has become so ridiculous in his powerset that it kinda just makes me wonder what Zanka no Tachi North will be.
OP and Naruto are harder for me to decide. I liked the Naruto chapter more because of the humor(to be fair, One Piece was just as funny) and how awesome Obito is. I'm more invested in his struggle to get out of the cave than pretty much anything going on in OP at the moment. OP on the other hand, did have way more in terms of plot progression than either. Seeing DoFlamingo has me excited for future arcs...which is pretty much the only reaction I've had through most of this arc.
So idk.
