Maka is up there.

No my favorite character is this guy.

Look at the guy with his swag and shit. An embodiment of madness but smart enough to be in one of the good guys. And since he wasn't shown dying I can only assume he's still alive and chilling inside Soul, waiting for a moment to take over the world! Mwahahahaha!

Maka and Black*Star tie for favorite: though I'm leaning towards Maka.

I reread the Soul Eater chapter and can't help but feel that it lacked a bit a closure. The way I saw it the only people who got any were Stein and Marrie. This felt more like the celebration chapter after a battle and not the actual end.

Though with that said bring on the reboot anime...for whatever studio that wants to get on that.

Yeah a lot of people were saying the ending to Deadman Wonderland was rushed(not me) but even if it is it doesn't hold a candle to this one. It was a nice ending but I would have liked a lot more.

Anyone read "Alive: Saishuu Shinkateki Shounen" before? The author died after barely completing his work. A good battle manga done right with details on abilities etc... and WARNING: alot of deaths lol

OMG, Yukiteru is such an unlikeable wimp.

Also, I find it weird how I'm supposed to like Ninth after she bombed a school and killed a ton of innocent people.

I'll admit, torturing Yukii did make me like her a lot more. As well as kicking the crap out of his ******* dad.

Yukiteru never gets any better. People like Minene for being the only competent person whose life doesn't revolve around that douche. That and being attractive of course.

Yuno is still the most awesome character though. Followed by Marco. I hope Yuno wins.

You're right about Yukii though. He was momentarilt badass against those goons, but it doesn't make up for what happened before then:

So Yukiteru knows that his dad killed mommy dearest and it's totally cool cause y'know, his dad wanted to see the stars one last time and apologized for it. Hell, he even says he has no regrets. I don't ****ing know... maybe killing your ex-wife is a regret? No? Oh, okay.

I know right? I actually gasped a little when he grabbed that parachute. Yukii so should have unleashed the yandere on him.

Also, why is Eight's head like 5 times normal size?

That implies Yuki is smart enough to realize how useful Yuno is.

But yeah Yuki inherits his Dad's douchebaginess and is arguably worse.

When you get done with that go read Deadman Wonderland to cleanse the pallet. The main character is a Yuki expy but is like a billion times better.

Edit: As for Eight nobody knows. But she's the nicest character in the series so she would stick out even without the odd art lol.

Although serious recommendation time: Go watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Best anime, and possibly best series I've ever watched.
