Outlining their motivations will certainly help.
Do not neglect that the Festans divide into two groups as well- the corporate entity that controls the planet via mercenary militia, and the miners that inhabit the planet and work the mines.
The Mantooinians and Trade Federation (as far as you are aware) have no such divisions.

Yeah I ment insight but I couldn't remember the word.
I think the miners will be forgotten if we don't keep others remembered they need the miners to do the work.
(very sorry for being offline, have a lot of work ... at work, till May 16th)
Okay here we go:
The Trade Federation wants to mediate and maintain peace. There is probably some sort of economic gain they can make here since they are shrewd business types. Their droids will come into play at some point; highest bidder?
The Mantooinians want to dominate the trade in the area or coerce some sort of treaty or pact from the Festans in which they come out on top.
The Festans want to maintain their autonomy and resist any efforts for control of the area besides their own.
The Miners' Guild just wants more rights, more power, more money, better working conditions.
It all comes down to money and power... Jelena's favorite.
That just about sums things up.
Senator Lobs informs you that the first day of negotiations will start tomorrow, so you are able to settle in for the night and discuss the motives of each party.
The night passes uneventfully without movement from the Mantooinians or the Trade Federation, and Senator Lobs informs you at some point that the Festans (both parties) do nothing. All the ships in orbit - visible in the crisp night sky and highlighted by Fest's moon - remain stationary, moving with the planet's rotation above Fest City.
The morning comes bright and early. The Senator wastes no time in informing you that the speeders will be here shortly to escort you to the meeting location.
Jelena bundles up after being awoken, preparing for the nippy atmosphere of Fest that lies beyond the walls of the Senator's mansionesque apartments. She makes sure her lightsabers are functional despite the cold, maybe taking a moment to adapt them if it is an issue, before strapping them to herself, under her cloaks and at her belt.
She will check with Jovan to see that he is ready before seating and meditating in wait for the speeders.
"Hope," Lobs sighs, and sighs again.
The speeder carries you away from the Senatorial complex, through the streets of Fest City. As with Jovan's drive through the city, there are not many people on the streets, even during the day. The steely buildings, reminiscent of Soviet-era apartments, are frosted with ice and devoid of light or sound, though you sense their occupants.
The meeting place where the negotiations are going to take place is slated for the Corporation's offices. The government is not run with the pomp and publicity of the Senate, but from behind closed doors in executive meeting rooms.
"Everyone will meet there," Senator Lobs says. "The Mantooinians and the Trade Federation are sending their representatives down from the blockade."
Jelena ponders why the goverment of Fest is so secretive and complicated instead of open and democratic like the Senate, but then considers all the deals and meetings that go on in private on Coruscant and around the galaxy that affect how things go in the Senate.
"Are the Corporation offices secure?"
"Not by any means," Jelena says, though privately she is a little concerned yet with the communication issue at their arrival. "But it is better to be prepared for the occasion, don't you think?
"I can address that with the Corporation representative when we arrive," Jelena says. "I realize that you do not have control over the matter. Your assistance would be most appreciated."
