I just read TI again.
I have to tell you, I felt bad for Thanos, the way Death kept him from dying, just to fulfill her own agenda. He definitely seemed sad and upset by the situation.
It was definitely a raw deal for Thanos, even though it was stated that Death was fueling his power through the story.
He took some serious punishment in that series. Passing out, being weakened so bad from entering the cancerverse. Being disintegrated by Drax. Then, being dissected by Undying Mar-Vell. Only to be shunned by Lady Death again.
Then, after seeing how easily 616 Lady Death did away with the ENTIRE Cancerverse, it is certainly apparent just how much weaker the Cthulhu-Characters really were.
Then, again, they did seem to be able to destroy plenty of fleet vessels. Oh, and 1 abstract entity. That poor "Giant-Yellow-Lady", you know, what's-her-name.
I guess we should be happy that NONE of the 616 super beings were harmed. At all. 🙄 I'm pretty sure.
But, I did realize that one of the ways for Asgard to win against Thanos, is to simply call up Drax on the phone and find out where he got the mine he used to vaporize Thanos.
If they needed to, maybe they could get a few of them. Lady Sif could probably be the one to use them.
Then, another way to win, would be for Volstagg to call up Rocket Raccoon, so the Raccoon can explain that Thanos can also be dropped into a "Gravity Sink". Since ALL of the Asgardians seem to be able to bounce around between dimensions and such, I'm sure there are many with the ability to teleport Thanos into a Gravity Sink.
I mean, he definitely did not seem like he wanted any trouble from the small space mammal.
Just my take on things.
