She was aiming for the leave-no-trace tactic and maybe got surprised by the number of droids there?

That means we can assume that Adelmo also has the information we do.
She also must have gotten it recently or else the droids would have patched the ceiling.

I don't think they could have known about the droids, unless they knew more than we did. Certainly before Katai got captured, and before they put a building over it. They still have their head start.

I think it must have come post-building.
If you look at the beginning of the thread when we are just beginning to cut into the roof of the compound, there is a hint that somebody recently cut into where we were looking.

Either way, they got what they came for, we can assume.

So then we just need to figure out what we have and where we go next after we rest in the hospital.

I think if Xeth's R3 unit joins in on this with Andro and Roan and I, we can decipher the data and get what we need.

We should also finalize who's getting healed and who isn't. So far we have Andro, Vera-Kin, Xeth, Aurel? (If he's still playing) and two/three others left to be healed.

I think the two/three others should be Denzral and Roan, due to higher medicine ad skills in combat in case we need to make heal rolls again and Sunda since, despite being a padawan, he's pretty beastly in combat.

Here's how my healing plan looks now (Using the damage/medicine list Brit posted earlier), if anyone can think of a better plan feel free to change it up.

Adelmo and Lennah were here about ten years ago. The droids fixed any major damage to the ceiling but they didn't polish the scorch marks; repairing the cut into the access corridor was something they could not do without leaving a trace (and in time terms, 'recent' is relative here- only ten years ago instead of hundreds or two thousand).

So, if they were there 10 years ago, the question is, why haven't they found the scrolls yet? If they have a 10 year head start what went wrong?

This is a fair question.

Maybe they had to act slower to prevent drawing attention to themselves. Or maybe, as was mentioned before about why Kazan may have never collected them, they know where the scrolls are but can't get to them for whatever reason.

As a possibly related question, how far into the republic did Kazan and Malphas get? Because if the scrolls are not out on some far flung planet but in the core of the republic, then it might be much more difficult for Adelmo.

Varus and Malphas, really- Kazan did the personal jobs but Varus fought the war. They tore the Republic in two- but Kazan would have had to hide them somewhere totally outside of normal observation.

So possibly somewhere remote, uninhabitable or both either inside or outside the Republic. A planet that isn't unstable but no one would ever want to settle would be a good hiding spot, though speculation doesn't help too much until we decypher that data.

Do we have a final decision on the healing?

As the Jedi are patching up in the hospital compound, with the help of medical droids and the Jedi's own medical savvy, a figure walks in.

Dressed in tight fitting black Jedi raiment, complete with a leather vest and belt, there was a long barrel custom made targeting rifle strapped vertically on the back. The unusual staffed lightsaber hangs on the belt, with slightly curved hilts on each side.

Tightening up the black leather straps on his light cyan colored lekku, the Jedi shows off his trademark smirk as he acknowledges the group.

"The rumor is, there's a certain group of Jedi who have a knack for finding trouble... Whom might be in need of assistance,"

"I can't say I was surprised when the local authorities pointed me to the hospital, eh?"

Vlad makes a round, greeting each Jedi and Renegade in turn, before settling along side Wentar, one hand on the Renegade's shoulder. History between these two...

"I was sent on a small investigation on the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth," begins Vlad, thinking back to the harsh, tide-locked world. "I was assigned back to Roan's group as soon I was done."

"I do apologize for the delay... Master Windu briefed me on the way here. Can anyone update me on your findings?"

Rast will spend his time waving off nurses and the other Jedi who try to treat him. Spending much of his life on the fringes of civilized space since attaining the status of Knight, he sees much worse than an infinite horde of reassembling battle droids all the time. He will simply rest and open a battered old book, smoking out on balconies if the hospital on Alambritis has one, his worn boots up on the railings.

When Vlad enters, Rast regards him with initial suspicion but suspects that the others know him, especially when he greets Wentar warmly.

"We found hell and fought our way out," Rast says, spitting off the balcony. He does notice the rifle over Vlad's back. "You much of a marksman, boy?"

Jelena looks up from examining the ancient encrypted data with Andro and Roan and Xeth's R3, and greets Vlad with a smile.

"Thank you for joining, Vlad," Jelena says. "We could have used your talents with rifle and saber yesterday, but something tells me we will need them before we complete our assignment."

Jelena will agree with Wentar's assessment of who receives added medical treatment.

"Vlad!" Xeth will welcome the Jedi back. "How was Ryloth, you damn half-breed? And I see you've changed your lightsaber out for something less functional..."

I'm okay with the healing scheme (because I get healed).

Woops, silly of me, the lightsaber staff isn't curved on any side. That would be functionally impossible.

So after several episodes of working along side her, I'm going to go ahead and ask what race is Jelena? There was never a bio on her, was there?

I actually did get some xp for Episode 5, and was able to increase my Guns to 4. We're a mean pack of Jedi.

Vlad looks over at the ragged, but dangerous looking renegade Jedi over on the balcony. Damn tough looking one... Where does Xeth find them?

"I am Jedi Knight Vlad Shafran" introduces himself Vlad.

" - and I like a man who can appreciate the finer weapons," adds Vlad, jokingly glancing over at the familiar Sonic Blaster near Xeth's gear, before looking back at Rast. "But I rather let my rifle answer your question in the near future."

"Somehow, Xeth, I don't think I'm ever willingly going back there."

"But ah, the lightsaber, I mastered some neat tricks with this one..." replies Vlad to Xeth. "Master Windu's reaction to it, however, was.... Much less amusing"

Xeth remembers a certain Dark Jedi he sparred against, years ago, who fought with a similar weapon.

"I can't imagine he finds much amusing," Xeth says. "And don't mind, Rast, he's always a grump."

Vlad - Xeth also now carries a pump-action grenade launcher around, and he just used it heavily.
