Couldn't the up-and-up way be just going and talking to whoever is currently in charge of Lennah's company?
Seems like we could make a pretty good case without having to be threatening. Their company is in shakeup, we just discovered their CEO (or whatever) has been dead for 10 years. We could just say, "Hey, your long dead CEO was messing with some random Sith stuff. We'd like to check it out. Can you help?"
The board members would quickly pick a new CEO, in fear of confidence in their company or their stock value dropping, no?
Can we go to the board members and explain to them our situation. Go for Jedi Intimidation, more of the "Your boss was rummaging through Sith artifcats, give us access to Lennah's tech or there will be some consequences."

It's not actually illegal to find ancient artefacts. It's not as if Lennah created the war droids. It would take you a long time indeed to prove that Lennah was threatening public safety (which, to be fair here, you don't actually know if he was doing yet- you don;t know what the SNK does and the only dead body you've found is Lennah himself, and by some definitions he's not even dead).
We're all in the hospital right now Aurel. We're trying to work out a way to quickly decipher the data we obtained from the Sith Base.
Pretty much you can just shoot out ideas or questions to Ush about how we can go about it.
It's totally fine for you to just jump right in. You were in the combat in the base so it's just assumed you were shot down and taken to the hospital to heal with the rest of us.
That'll be tied up for months at the minimum- no-one even knows where it is, let alone who now owns it. It sure as heck isn't on Coruscant so local laws would come in first.
I think what this comes down to is- are you going to try and decrypt the info herer with the best you can, or are you going back to Coruscant and spend time at the temple?
We've already spent a lot of time at the hospital, I think we do not have the time to make a trip to the Temple as well.
I'm with trying to get the info as best we can here. Maybe see if there's some form of government assistance we can get, access to fancy computer labs or the like.
That being said I would like to update the Council on our mission status as soon as we have the data deciphered, maybe even send a copy of the data to them as well. Perhaps they can do something more with it once we are done.
Gallagher will also spend some time pondering his vision. Before embarking on this quest, before they even met with Alik Saar, he saw scraps and pieces of the possible future that lay before them. He muses that the location of the other piece of the Scrolls of Bandomino may be guarded, and maybe has been for some time, considering Darth Kazan never recovered them.
