USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (LIGHT SIDE)- Missing Links

Started by Brit173 pages

All very weird... Jelena also wishes she could interview the Osokans but somehow feels it won't prove helpful to them. They did go down in the fighting, even if they survived. I'm sure they missed whatever happened after the skirmish in the high-roller's area. Or to Merek.

Any sign of the aircar outside the casino?

Otherwise, Jelena's only interest would be extensive work on the security system but we don't have time for it. She will suggest to Agent S'Nar that they do work on it to see if it turns up anything further.

No sign of an intact aircar. It could take a long time to identify if it got blown up as there is wreckage all around the tower.

You can take a crack at the security system- but under the time you have you only get one roll at it. I'd also need to know what you re after, as going for 'everything' is very hard.

EVERYTHING!

Does Jelena make the roll alone or can she do it with help?

Would it make sense to look for the 'style' or way it was wiped? Otherwise, Jelena would probably want to get the time it got wiped, in context with everything else (the starship chase in orbit, etc.)

So noted! I thin lacking anyone else being interested it will be you rolling alone.

I"ll help out Jelena with the security system

Actually, another question. Did the security cameras cover the inside of the elevator shaft at all?

If not, Jelena will just go for determining anything distinctive about the way in which the computers were wiped, and when they were wiped.

But that's a third thing you want if the cameras do look in there?

Also, final-final call for anyone else to look for anything!

Hmm... if they do look in there, try to recover that feed instead of the other two things I asked about. If they don't look in there, then the original plan.

Gallagher will open himself to the Force and see if his intuition speaks to him about anything else in the crime scene. He lacks the skills to look for much else on his own.

If its possible, I'd like to try to recover the security feed. Not just in the elevator, but wherever possible.

Alright, that's that then- and sorry guys, but that's a zero. The feeds are totally gone. They are pretty much the major target of what the hacker was after. You need to think around a skilled enemy like this, not head on where they are most protected. I am sure you will kick yourself- trying to find timing logs would have been much more fruitful.

Gallagher- the Dark Side surrounds this one. Your intuition tells you nothing that was not already deduced- but it's too late now to pursue any of that.

Time to go. The Bureau will pick it up from here- but so you are not holding your breaths, I'll tell you now: they eventually tell you there was nothing to be found.

I have some explanation of this on the discussion area.

Jelena certainly doesn't feel pleased overall with how things went investigating the tower; she feels there was more to glean from the crime scene and from Merek himself, but she knows time is against them. She quickly returns to her starfighter with Essallin and sets course for Coruscant.

The whole encounter certainly put a sour taste in Vera-Kin's mouth for the Bureau. If she already doesn't really go for the whole bureaucratic mess that is the Senate and the Republic's services, she probably feels no better about them after encountering Agent S'Nar.

"Something was amiss with that whole scenario and he knew it," Vera-Kin says, walking with Xeth, Rast, and Wentar back to the Nexu's Grin and the Free Flyer. "He couldn't have stopped us if we figured out what it was, but the fact that he tried and succeeded doesn't sit well with me..."

Vera-Kin will reboard with Wentar and get ready to jump back to Coruscant, to resume untangling Saar's puzzle. She wonders what Saar would make of the encounter, but isn't sure she wants to ask. He likely heard about the Dark Jedi attack on Robine anyway.

Well he'd only know that if he was somehow able to watch the news or something... oh... wait...

I was too stuck on the signal jammer. It felt fishy but had no idea how to pin anything down with it. Also am not being as active as I should be, am staying up to date with things though.

I'm sure Saar will have something to say when we get back.

"The Osokans worry me more," Wentar says to his fellow Renegades. "They feel like an extreme measure for most standard immigration issues."

Well, it is indeed time to return to Saar! Quick reminder to all- what were you about to bring to him before you got sidetracked?

I believe he asked for a ham sandwich, cut off the crusts.

We had an area of space where the remainder of the Scrolls would've been jettisoned but couldn't narrow it down further than six planets, I believe. We needed his advice for the next step.

That seems about right to me. Can't remember if we needed to ask him anything else. Maybe ask about Marek, in case there's an SnK connection there the Dark Siders knew about that we don't.

Here's what I posted before we were so rudely interrupted by a Dark Jedi Space-fight.

Well, if we know the whole story we know how to shortcut it.
Our current goal is to try to narrow down the planets that Malphas sent the second half of the scrolls to.
Also, if there are some leads on picking up Malphas' trail after Alambritis that would be good to know.

The current "story" that Saar is telling us is the one that begins with Kuylen, Adelmo and Lennah and ends with Lennah's fried brain. So I think the crux of that story is learning what Lennah did to piss off Adelmo. Maybe we can learn when he went into hiding and what he was doing right before it.

I think the moral of this whole episode (and the hint in the title) is that knowing the whole story and filling in all the pieces to the timeline will give us the advantage over Adelmo.

So 3 goals with Saar.
1. Narrow down the list of planets.
2. Learn about Malphas' journey
3. How and when did Lennah piss off Adelmo.

I think this is the order of our goals as well. Because if we get to the scrolls first we can stop Adelmo. Then we can try to get to the SnK, and then we can learn about Lennah and perhaps learn how to deal with Adelmo.

Meanwhile, we should also be keeping an eye on external news of the galaxy to see if Adelmo is up to anything. She's being obvious so we should be able to tell if there were any major terrorist-style attacks on major historical locations. (I also think that this is what Saar wants with the news, to try and find Adelmo)
