USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (LIGHT SIDE)- Missing Links

Awww man, can't we just knock him out and mind tick him into leaving or something.

So that shoots down the last of my ideas. Good luck deciding guys. 😛

I'm with the bluff idea. 'Thanks anyway' to
Saar, come back later.

I think Saar is desperate to talk to us, if Thule has been his only contact for so long. Lots of Jedi? Here for him? If that isn't going to stroke a Darkie's ego, nothing is. He's just playing this silly game because he's a darkie and loves the power over people. Do we really want to indulge him? No. We are above that.

Let's leave.

"Doctor Thule, if you would oblige us in our request it would speed things up here," Wentar says. "The sooner we get what we want out of Saar, the sooner we can get out of your hair and let you get back to work."

(Saar knows we need him, and he has all the time in the world. We've got to get Thule to cooperate.)

"This IS my work. Studying people like Saar is a fundamental part of my function, and by excluding me you would deny that function!"

I feel like it is too clear to Saar that we need his help for that bluff to work.

"For an hour, tops," Wentar says, starting to get irritated with the man. "You have years to study him without interference, yet you wont give us the measly hour we need to get some answers so we can be on our way to continue our investigation."

"Your conversation is a vital part of my observations! To miss that is ridiculous- and I must be able to judge the effects it has on him!"

"You can judge what effects it has afterward," Gallagher notes.

"The effect it has during is a vital part of that!"

Can Gallagher determine if he is too strong-willed to be Persuaded? I am assuming so but I just want to confirm because he won't be talked down...

"There won't be anything to research if we are not able to get him to talk in the first place, Doctor," Gallagher points out.

Almost certainly not, actually, The better question is- why the heck are you even suggesting it? You're thinking like a Dark Sider. Work with people; not against them.

"And what good is that if I don;t see any of it?"

Is Saar listening currently?

Not if you don't want him to.

We don;t want Saar to hear any of this really. I remember Thule closed off the audio to him... I am sure.

"Doctor Thule, if you let him talk to us alone and uninterred. That would give you the chance to study what aftereffect it will have on him. You will better understand in future and you may even be able to make progress with him."

Thule ponders this.

"I'll need a complete transcript from you of everything he says."

"I would happy to provide that for you, Doctor," Jelena says. "Denzral has a point. It is a rare opportunity to study his interactions with others besides yourself, especially Jedi Knights."

(Good thinking, Denzral! Can't believe I didn't think of that)

(I was going to suggest it earlier but I needed to think as I wasn't sure how to word it, but Ush (via the good Doctor) gave me the perfect opportunity a few posts back. The Doctor is a bit of a thule isn't he lol (fool) heh)

Denz smiled. "We will provide you with complete details Doctor, I assure you." He nods his thanks to Jelena for supporting what he had said, and at least they had finally progressed with the good doctor.

Well, so long as they are complete in every detail, Thule will allow this- just this once!
