I don't suppose Gallagher has strong feelings toward either group?

Xeth doesn't like either group. Both make things really difficult and the Neimoidians tie in to his investgiations of the Techno Union loosely. The way things go for him, he wouldn't be surprised if the Neimoidians were involved with Lennah.

I'm honestly leaning more towards the Hutts here.

The Trade Feds probably keep records on everything, especially when a wealthy businessman is involved, too much of a paper trail for someone like Lennah I think. The Hutts on the other hand don't care who you are, so long as your credits are good.

Also I think Lennah would be outside of the Republic, it fits his 'loner' ways. When you need something done outside the Republic, you look to the Hutts.

Ok, in that last sentence, Wentar is doing what I suggested, which is thinking about the person.

However, you should also draw up a list of what things Lennah needs to do what you have been told he does.

Facepalm...

He's monitoring his company remotely, which is some pretty fancy tech. Which points heavily to the Neimoidians being involved here.

Tick one- needs got quality tech. Keep going on that basis.

possibly need to bully his way around if things don't go his way, he can't bully a hutt?

Not own his own, no. That would have been what allying with the likes of Kuylen would have helped with, but that's long done.

He's going to require basic needs, like food and sanitary items.

Foodstuffs would probably be important. And he might need some security equipment to protect himself, seeing as he doesn't have anyone like Kuylen around these days.

As far as we know.

Hiring mercenary groups or private security firms outside the republic shouldn't be a problem, what would be a problam is the vast amount of Republic currency he would need to convert in a galactic bank.

He might still have an interest in obtaining Sith artifacts. I think working with the Hutts is a more likely area for that sort of thing, since that sort of thing is usually outside of the Republic.

(The Neimoidians strike me as the better choice for Lennah. He's a businessman, and so are they. They speak the same 'language'. The Hutts are really just criminals/dregs/thugs in a way, and don't seem like Lennah's type.
Plus the Niemoidians provide some illusion of legitamacy about the whole deal. If you're dealing with Hutts, you're up to no good. If you're dealing with the Niemoidians, you are not necessarily up to no good.)

Andro is right- though don't get too focussed on the Hutt vs. Neimodian thing as it only gets you so far.

Basic needs and food- yes, but too easily acquired in this galaxy for you to work with. Some sort of security, likely.

Hiring mercenaries- what do you think?

Gallagher thinks it likely. If he used to deal with people like Kuylen, then he probably wants some protection. He probably isn't a fighter himself.

Mercenaries he can get from the Hutts, or droid soldiers from the Federation. Hmm.

Again, try not to get hung up on thee delivery method...

What did Wentar point out about Lennah above? And what sort of personality does he have?

He's a loner. If he's got protection, it won't be people.

Ah, that makes sense.

Droids aren't people.

He's not only a loner, remember- he's paranoid.

So, let's narrow down the type of places he can be. Where won't or can't he be? Thinking both personality and practicality here.
