I think we can deduce that the Trade Federation is who he is dealing with. So it would be a world that fits those criteria that also is within the Trade Federation shipping lanes.

If it was a private deal, the shipping lanes are irrelevant. Like I said before, don;t get obsessed with the Fed thing. It's not actually very useful until you have a lot more info.

who says it needs to be the Hutt's or Trade Feds,? Anyway, we know he is using spefialised equipment, now we need to figure out where he would get it.

Can Denz have Soapy (if he's outta the repair shop) run a sweep of planets in the Archives, that would be remote enough but habital and within access range of the Galactic Banking networks on Coruscant and his company, in addition to short hyperspace hop to a planet that may have a secure bank vault or secure storage on the planet? Or if not Soapy, then maybe Denz's contact, or even Denz can run the search. See if it spits out any names.

He can get you that list, yes, but it's huge.

How huge?

Okay, adding a criterior... A planet or moon in or near systems where Kuylen has been known to have been or associated with. sorry for double post, feel free to merge.

how about we check the basement of the corporation? 😛

Nice, simple, and who would think of it- think we have a winner there Jovan!

I'm still unsure of my own thoughts regarding the type of planet he might be on. If he's going to have access to good communications, it will probably be populated but I don't want to say something as populated as Coruscant.

I think it'll be in the Republic. From what we've seen recently, the worlds on the rim are not secure. Look at Ando; it is a Republic world but had a riot.

I agree, it will definitely be a populated world, most likely in the Republic, maybe even core to mid-rim, somewhere off the beaten track.

He's probably hiding in the Jedi Temple.

But why not Coruscant? He'll be one in the masses, there's billions of creatures around who don't care what you do instead of less densely populated planets where someone who stands out (for instance he's a human on Greedo's planet) will be constantly spied upon.

I think his thing is less about hiding in general and more about avoiding people. He wont be in a crowded place like Coruscant.

We've already agreed that he probably surrounds himself with droid servants to avoid organic company, no need to take a step back.

Wentar is right- he is a loner. That pointed Wentar towards the Outer Rim but then we ruled that out on comms issues.

He's also paranoid. Any hiding hole he has won't be with people.

The planet itself doesn't have to have good comms, because he can bring those with him.

However, like I said, it's time to stop deducing now- there are too many planets in the a galaxy to work that way- and go and get an actual lead.

Leads, eh? ... Goddamn it, the only one that come to mind is the fraking Trade Federation.

They were one of the listed shippers he could be using, they sell the tech he could use, like the comms and surveillance systems.

Most importantly, he'll want the best droid servants if he's going to rely on them and where do you go to get the best deals on the best droids? The Trade Feds.

Who said he needs droids of any kind?

It's entirely supposition. As Xeth can well attest, trying to get info like that out of the Neimodians could take months. It's not really a lead.

We understand the Hutts may do the shipping, but any company that does shipping could do it more securely and safely, any private firm, small... large. Some won't even need his name. And if the guy is that paranoid he'll have accounts and identity that isn't his own for something like this.

But he needs a firm that can supply the comms and computing technology as well- and Star Wars is not so deep a setting that I'd make that a detective issue in of itself. I also gave that Hutts vs. Feds thing off a successful roll, so I wouldn't mislead.

So it's both, Feds supplied the Tech, and the Hutt's transported it. So where is the local Hutt front on Coruscant, any dingy lower level night club.
