More useful once you've landed.

Fair enough!

Okay, how accurate are the lifesigns scanners on our ships? Can we find areas that are less populated by wildlife that coincide with the landing sites? I'm thinking along lines of Lennah picking a place with fewer wildlife to disturb him and him setting up a system to keep wildlife away from his delicate technology.

Bam! You're in!

Yes- there is an area near one of the landing sites that is unusually clear of wildlife...

Yes! Excellent!

Time to go in and find out what nasty surprises Lennah has in store for us, there has to be some reason why there's no wildlife there.

-

"I've got something guys, or more accurately nothing, an area near one of the landing sites is oddly devoid of wildlife. I think we should check it out," Wentar informs the group when his scan finishes.

good job craft!

(Awesome Craft! Saved our butts!)

"Good work, Wentar," Jelena says. Even though she still has less appreciation for Renegades, she must admit that Wentar is certainly a capable Jedi. "Essallin, prepare for landing, we'll set down as soon as Free Flier sends us the coordinates."

"This is why I hired you," Xeth says to Wentar before yelling at R3 to put power into the sublight thrusters and shields. Xeth dips the nose of the Nexu's Grin down toward Ayad.

"So we're rolling out? Good work Wentar!"

"You may be able to conduct the entire investigation yourself at this rate," Gallagher says to Wentar in jest.

Gallagher will ask D'an how he feels about this, and see if his own senses are telling him that anything is amiss.

Wentar directs the Free Flier down to the planet, sending the coordinates of the landing site to the others.

"Maybe, but I still wouldn't mind the company," Wentar replies to Gallagher, with a slight chuckle to show he's playing along in the joke. He then sends a reply to Xeth. "Wait, you hired me to find paranoid techno hermits on swamp worlds?"

Ok, so you guys set down in the appropriate place of swamp world! We'll make the background a bit more yellow than Dagobah in order to distinguish it. Lots of animal noises in the background, but the ground is firm enough.

Even with the narrowing down, you have a large area to search. What's the plan?

"I say we walk up and knock on his door, likely he knows we are here already." Denz joked.

(Look for a sign of a trail. Not just bootprints, but out of place or damaged limbs/vines/brush. With no wildlife, nothing should be disturbed. Oh and let's be VERY cautious, it's hard to image he didn't notice our arrival.)

I've got a bad feeling about this...

He;s really not going to be super happy about a team of Jedi tracking him down.

Hmm- seems to you that everything looks normal around here, Andro. No footprints, nothing broken or out of place. Mind you, tracks wouldn't last long in a swamp environment, Everything would shift before too long.

Well caution is a good bet, but the quicker we get there the better. Though where would he put his ship... is it here?

You can't see it.

Thinking back to the depths of RP lore...

On the hellish swamp world of Dordellus, Kuylen used some sort of sonic device to keep the flesh-eating bugs at bay. Maybe something like that is being used by Lennah to keep animals away?

Well now that's good thinking... sounds likely.
