Does Gallagher know anything of Alambritis, then or now?

"What was the superior force?" Gallagher asks. "And I am guessing he split the Scrolls to ensure that they were not recovered by whomever they were. One was fired off in that escape pod to the Antigone system from Alambritis, and the other..."

Gallagher trails off to let Saar fill in the story.

Vera-Kin is guessing that Alambritis is still relatively unimportant except for the fact that Darth Kazan had been there, and she is also guessing that Alambritis is where they will be picking up the trail, just as Adelmo did.

Sounds more to me like we have two places to go. One is Alambritis, the other is to visit the Jovano, where Adelmo and Lenna's search began.

The Jovano are NOT going to like us. They viewed Malphas as a God. A god who fought and hated Jedi. I'll bet a lot of that feeling is still around.

But lets not get ahead of ourselves, lets hear Saar out before we go running around.

The Jovano's time is long gone- they won't ever terrify the galaxy again. Anything to be learned from them the Jedi got many, many years ago.

So Alambritis is our real focus, then?

Indeed so! It is indeed an unimportant world in any other respect.

"Republican forces of some nature. Despite us knowing Kazan was there- Alambritis was under occupation for some while, after all- details of what actually happened remain very sparse.

"But you are right. Kazan took the precaution of securing everything he had gathered for his master Malphas. Should the planet fall, Kazan himself may escape but he would have no way of bringing a significant cargo with him, so he got that out first. He had contact with a group of smugglers- their name and nature long forgotten. They managed to keep him supplied with food during the siege- and they managed to get certain things out also."

"Such as the Scrolls of Bandomino," Vera-Kin says. "Or at least half."

"Such a thing could only ever be speculated. There is no evidence at all as to what he smuggled. I only knew for sure that he had smuggled the Scrolls off when Lennah told me what he had found. But the assumption was so logical that I was not at all surprised."

"I can see how you would make the connection," Vera-Kin says. "And you mentioned that the smugglers dropped their cargo?"

"No. We have no idea what they did. It seems that's what happened with one half, but one incident does not form a pattern."

"They may have been instructed to do such," Vera-Kin hypothesizes. "Only a conjecture. In any case, they did something else with the second half. But Alambritis is where we should start our investigation and follow Adelmo's path?"

One of the clues may have been given by Saar already, Adelmo only looks at history from a utilitarian point of view. If we look at the history of Alambritis and Kazan, we might get a better idea of whats going on and even get a jump on Adelmo.

But thats probably something we'd have to actually be on the planet to figure out.

Slightly buggered up in this case by there not being any such history available.

"All I can say," says Saar, "is that if there are any answers to be found, they'll be on Alambritis. That's where Lennah and Adelmo went. I make no promises beyond that."

"Do you have any information on where we should start when we get to Alambritis?"

"Why would I? I've told you now what I told Lennah."

(still here, just very tired and up to my neck in extra work they force upon me)

(everything that I would have said, has been said. So I'm still here too, just waiting for a opportunity where I can be of some help)

Can Denzral get in touch with the Jedi Archive and pull any information about Alambritis? Major cities, population, brief history, culture, sacred sites of interest technology.... so-on, soon as he is able to do it, or if he wishes to step out of the room to do so?

You can all make any preparations you like! As ever, you are against the clock.

A quick examination of Alambritis from the Archives sounds worthwhile to me. It is a Republic world, Jelena can perhaps call the Senator ahead of time to let them know they are coming?

Otherwise, Jelena is going to thank Saar for the information and head off to debrief Doctor Thule, if Saar is done.
