USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (LIGHT SIDE)- Missing Links

Going rather than coming, as the Senator is on Coruscant of course.

Oh, well then, we could even go talk to the senator before we go there. Maybe while the background research is going on.
I know we are in a time crunch, but he might be helpful.

Senators tend to be very busy and you have no means of compelling the issue.

Then does Alambritis have some other figurehead we could alert to our presence? If not, we can just pass a message on to the Senator, just so that they are aware.

For his part, I'll have Aurel go to study as well. While the others research Alambritis, I'll take a look at what the archives have on the Jovani.

______

Aurel looks at Saar for a moment, thinking. He wasn't quite sure what to make of the zabrak, he was certainly mannered and cooperative, if only to a degree. The young Jedi offers a slight bow and murmured, "Thank you for your aid," before turning to exit the area. Fallen or not, Saar was a living being, and so deserved some compassion. At least, that is what the young Sing believed.

They'll have a Head of State- we'll call him a Prime Minister- but asking him questions about the planet is a waste of his time as well. They'll just point you towards a tourist office or the like.

Oh I know, we can do all that footwork for ourselves. It was more of a want for them to be aware that a team of Jedi will be on their world. No surprises for them or us.

You don't actually have to notify the head of state when you go somewhere- local law enforcement maybe. When FBI Agents go to a state, they talk to the local police chief, not the Senator.

We can just do that when we arrive.

Is there anything to be found in the archives about Alambritis, since Denzral is checking?

I'll wait until everyone has their planned actions for this time period in.

Denz'll do what I mentioned.

I don't have any relevant merits for this preparation, but if I can I'll lend Denzral a hand scouring the Archives for information on Alambritis.

Appreciated, mate, appreciated.

Actually, if I could request some assistance from someone as well. I think researching the Jovani shouldn't be overlooked, and I've only basic skill in Jedi Lore, which may or may not come into play (I don't know, I'm simply erring on the side of caution).

Ok, in that case, you guys spend some time looking up Alambritis...

... and get nothing. It is a thoroughly unremarkable world. The Siege of Alambritis is its only noticable aspect on a galactic level, and almost nothing is known even of that (it got rather flattened at the time, along with its records).

Major cities, population, brief history, culture, sacred sites of interest technology.... so-on? Nothing at all?

Isn't it a Republic planet?

Nothing of interest, no.

Yes, it is Republican, and of reasonable age within the Republic, but very dull.

As you leave Saar, he has a couple of final comments to make.

"Do tell me what you find," says Saar. "Maybe you'll find some clue as to why Kazan went there... but I doubt it, because that's where the final twist is in that story."

"What's the twist?" Rast asks. He's not familiar with this sort of stuff normally. He's concerned about the evils out in the galaxy now more than the ones that were about years ago. But now they are relevant he guesses.

"We'll be certain to pass that information your way," Jelena says. She likes Saar's intelligence, not necessarily anything else about him, and his inquisitive nature is a twisted version of her own. "What is the twist?"
