USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

Returning to Coruscant turns Gallador into a reflexive mood.

"I never expected to return to this world." He says to Ascar and everyone else who may listen.

"This planet perfectly symbolizes what is wrong with the Republic and entire Galaxy. The beautiful top, the lights of the great city shining upon the stars, hiding both the corruption of the Senate and the rotten core below, where poor are forsaken to their own faith and mercy of gangs that have none. The curruption and discord grows, while the Jedi, the ones with the Force guiding them, the ones that can see beyond, are too weak and unwilling the change the matters. The countless billions of the citizens of the Galaxy lack the vision to guide themselves.

Their fear of Dark Side blinds the Jedi to the possiblities, their fear of using emotions blinds them to the need to act. One should embrace the entire Force instead of focusing on artificial division between the so-called Light and Dark Side."

Xavier listens to Gallador ramble as he looks upon the planet. He figured the only way he would ever see Coruscant again was on his way to an execution.

He ponders back on the choices he made. Xavier dreams of the life he could have had. One of honor and integrity serving as a Jedi Knight.

You and I both know that was always a false dream for you Xavier. You're right where you need to be. You want the fantasy but you better now. We have work to do.

Xavier would tell himself to shut up but he was not in an arguing mood. Besides he felt his dark half was right. Robine has shown him his illusions about the Jedi being able to fix the problems of the Galaxy were a self made hoax. The Jedi are just as powerless against the corruption and greed of the Galaxy. They couldn't keep the Bureau from using Katai. So if they couldn't fix the problems of the Republic it would have to be Xavier to do it.

What better place then start here.

"I will help look into tracking the co-ordinates. And Gallador I will agree with you on one thing. This is a broken planet at the center of a broken galaxy. Perhaps it is time we fixed that."

"Can you help us get our fighters out of Republic space?" Galder asks Ascar. "For safekeeping until we can fix them up."

Galder suggests AK-06 on Flotsam I, or getting in touch with Allies, Contacts, or Ties that might be willing and able to tuck the ships away until we can claim them.

He can indeed do that- but that rules out using your ships for a while.

Do we want them close by people?

Rand decides to share his vision with the group at this point, though he is not certain it will reveal the identity of their enemy but perhaps give them an idea of what they're up against when they arrive at their coordinates.

You are in a large building- like a castle or citadel. You can't be sure because you are not seeing it from the outside but within. This is you in the future.

You are overlooking some great courtyard into which are packed many people. A lot of them have a similar look- some sort of uniform they are wearing? It is hard to tell; sensing the future is still dreamlike even for you. Details are hard. They are surrounded by others. They do not look like triumphant happy people.

You are far above, looking down on them from some balcony or the like. There are other people up here with you. One of them is speaking. He is an important man.

“We have been a long time coming to this day., then success of the mission I sent you on is the final part in our preparations. They have not been easy. We have all been challenged. Some lived, some died.”

What is he talking about? You feel uneasy. Where are your friends? Are they here? Some might be. You know not all.

“As for our new guests..”

Are you a guest? No, je is talking to those down below. The ones in the middle, not the ones that surround them. The ones surrounding them look much rougher- and they are not in any sort of uniform. Mercenaries?

“You have shown bravery and spirit. These things are to be respected. But you have also shown disobedience. You knew what you were doing. The penalty, therefore... is death.”

He nods to those surrounding them down below, and the 'mercenaries' draw their weapons as one. A hundred of them draw.

Lightsabres!

They then proceed to hack the helpless figures in the middle to pieces, and the man on the balcony walks away., You do not follow, yet in your vision you do- you see where he goes, down the stairs, through the small side corridor, to the security door where he types in the code, and you can see the code, and he walks through and...

Blackness. You cannot see within. Shrouded! Your will to see is opposed...

What is our alternative if we do not send the ships away? They sit hidden on Coruscant without any repairs completed?

Gallador will add that we believe that person in Rand's vision was not Kuylen....

Why do believe it is not Kuylen?

Also the gang of lightsaber mercenary types worry considering only force sensitive people usually use lightsabers because of the danger of self wounding. Does that mean the person in your dream as a small army of force users!?!?!?

We asked Ush in PM and he said that man in the vision was not Kuylen.

Okay not Kuylen.

Didn't think he was Kuylen, but there's something very unclear about it all.

Indeed, you can continue to use your ships, but at their current damage values.

Perhaps getting them repaired should be top priority. As long as we are careful on Coruscant we shouldn't need them. Besides we could steal something else if needed 😛

You're not staying on Coruscant long- you are going to 'mystery unknown planet' soon!

Here I thought we were getting an all expenses paid vacation!!!!

In that case we may need our ships! We also still need a transport ship for the rest of us!

Well, Ascar has that covered, in an exceptionally unstylish way- he's not exactly a starship repository.

He can offer you the services of an old Wanderer-class space hopper. It's old and worn out but it will fit all of you- it's the Star Wars equivalent of a transit van, and exactly as stylish.

I wouldn't try fighting in it.

Xavier wants this ship so he can make modifications to it!

Also at this point Xavier doesn't want to do any fighting in any space craft ever again. He prefers to fight on the ground.

Can we determine anything about this location before we go there? Is it an unknown sector?

What Ascar says if I tell him about Rands vision?

Ush is there anything else we should or can be doing right now?
