USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

Azarl will piggyback off of Relle. He speaks slowly to be understood.

"Maybe Adelmo and Kuylen are in league together. We pissed off Adelmo, and it's her style to send other people to do her dirty work. And apparently his style in return."

"I was just thinking that. Either way, we've got two megalomaniacs against us. We've only got one."

She gestures at Rand.

Also- could Galder heal Relle more instead of Azarl? The bug is more durable and didn't just wage war in a casino. I'm less durable and did fight lethal hunter pigs.

I can agree with that. If Azarl's okay with that. Galder won't help Rand any more due to well-established rivalry.

"No," Galder says, sitting down. He has Kuylen's lightsaber in hand, contemplating it. "Kuylen wouldn't work with Adelmo. That's not his style. He leads, he doesn't follow."

Suddenly paranoid about the whole ordeal, Galder will inspect the lightsaber to make sure there is no tracking device inside it.

"So you feel Adelmo told Kuylen who told Merek who told some Jovano bounty hunters? That's quite the chain. What I am not hearing is any common cause for Adelmo and Kuylen to work together- I agree with Galder."

Clear, Galder. AS FAR AS YOU CAN TELL!

Rand will agree with Galder and Ascar.

"They may both seek the SnK but for their own motives," Rand says. "Not enough a common cause, and Briande's statements on Gonderkorro can put that to rest. Perhaps Kuylen seeks our demise because we've been in contact with Adelmo?"

Rand ponders how Kuylen could have found Epireus.

"What of Melkus Doon? They did business, as we know. Maybe Kuylen knew of his base of operations already. It's no secret we decimated the Golden Serpent. Kuylen could connect those dots."

Melkus rather exaggerated his links with Kuylen- he sold him knick-knacks. He certainly never told Kuylen where his base was.

Rand inquires of Ascar whether he thinks Kuylen gleaned it from someone who knows of Epireus or if he discovered it by his own methods. Based on knowledge of the man.

We can rule out Doon and Adelmo.

Hell, do we remember how Adelmo found us?

Ascar says he has no reason to believe Kuylen would have any means of knowing your location. He doesn't have his old networks and, much as you guys often feel it's an open secret, really very few people have any idea about Epireus.

Adelmo used Doon as a contact to get her equipment.

Obfuscate from Rand and Gallador should've protected us from him just sensing us, right? Unless he's really strong in the Force.

Kuylen is strong but unfocussed. He followed intuitive Dreams to expose Sith secrets but he never had the full picture.

Remember even powerful Force users find it very hard to make precise locational findings with no clues. Even the Emperor and Vader couldn't locate the Rebels' base- though Vader knew he had found it as soon as a probe sent a vague picture- and Kuylen is not in their league when it comes to prediction and far sight.

"You know we still aren't even sure this order really came from Kuylen," Xavier says. Although he also wants to give Kuylen's light saber a once over for a tracking device if Galder allows it.

"Who all exactly knows where our home base is?"

It's a short list when it comes to those who know about Epireus. He had to have extracted the information from someone. None of us are spying for him, he couldn't sense us, I doubt he's broken our contacts and allies, Adelmo hates him and vice versa, Ascar has little to no reason to tell us, we've ruled out Doon...

Who else knows?

That you know of- you guys, Adelmo, junky mcjunk droid (but his programming makes it literally impossible for him to break customer confidence), those hunters, probably Merek before he died, Ascar.

"You see, we are faced with questions we can't answer either way," says Ascar. "If we say it is Kuylen, we cannot establish how he knew where you are. I maintain that your enemy must be connected to someone who already knows that. Of course, in that case, it would have to be someone you don't know at all- and the question becomes, how did you manage to get yourself wanted dead before you even met someone? You're good at making enemies but that would be new even for you.

"I did suspect Adelmo but this business with Merek and him giving you Kuylen's name seems rather convoluted for her. She's not very patient."

"Adelmo was my first thought as well. Whoever it is thought they did go through great pains to make our lives harder in finding them. I also wonder if this person was responsible for jamming our communications when the Jedi arrived. Almost like they didn't want us talking to each other."

Ush how hi-tech or resource heavy would something have to be to block our communications like they were?

That was a highly specialised move.

However- you know the Bureau are specialists in signal work.

So it was most likely the Bureau that jammed our signals the question would be why they didn't want us talking to the Jedi or Vice versa

"I'm almost positive that had to do with Katai's presence. Adelmo's executor in a Bureau uniform? I'm still deciding if Adelmo had a hand in that, if nothing else."

"Why would Adelmo have anything to do with the Bureau though. They want her gone just as much as us."

"I think it more likely that this is the Bureau moving against Adelmo," says Ascar. "Turning her enforcer is quite a coup."
