Con will sleep and be with Xavier in the control room in the morning.

"An upgrade in his status in the Bureau files. A new rumour is coming in that has raised his threat level considerably."

"How did he raise his threat level?!" Gallador asks eagerly.

Rand is intrigued and awaits Ascar's answer, Gallador having already asked the question on his mind.

"The rumour I read- and I have no more information than this- is that he is raising a new army."

"That's doing pretty good for someone supposed to be dead. Do you know where the rumour came from at least?"

"I do not."

Relle will have spent the night sleeping and will be at the top of the path.

Galder used his personal Epireans so that's not an option for him. Damn.

Per Rand's plan, Galder will have ten Epireans at each of the guard posts. The remaining sixty will be at the top of the path.

Galder uses the night to set up the avalanche.

He will be at the top of the path to direct the Epireans.

Azarl hangs out with Xavier for the night to reinforce the comms so that we don't have our communication cut off.

He then will be at the top of the path in the morning, with Relle.

Ush, can we position ourselves just off to one side at the top, so that we are halfway between the entrance to the base and the top of the path? Could we still see the path up from there?

"Do you think Kuylen would be willing to send people after us?" Xavier asks Ascar politely.

Yes you ca and yes you can, Azarl. You have a good view from up there, in fact.

-

"I do not," says Ascar. "I find that idea highly unlikely."

Relle will be there with Azarl then.

Vic is sleeping!

And by sleep I mean hovering idly in a corner like a dead guy. When day comes he's with the bulk of the "fighting" guys.

"He does have a penchant for his armies," Rand says. "In Edana's vision, Eller revealed to her that the person sending the killers after us was a man, then changed that description to a General. I don't believe Adelmo fits either."

"I;d rule Kuylen out for the same reason I thought you should rule Adelmo in. You aren't thinking enough about the psychology of your theoretical enemy. You must not only put yourself in their shoes, but also attempt to think like thy do."

"Hmm," Rand muses. "Well. Is there any chance you can uncover more about that rumor? I'm sure the Bureau is doing everything they can to prove whether or not it is true."

"Well I suppose," says Ascar, "but I was really rather more hoping that you would be the ones to find out more."

"How do you expect us to do such a thing?" Rand queries.

"My dear fellow, that's not my business. I am just providing you with information, as agreed."
