She is specifically stating she is not going to be caught off guard. This means that she MUST be ready for the attack coming.... pretty ludacris.

The more I look at that scan the more I question it... Doomsday hit's Maxima, but look how far away she is when he slams the van on top of her. She should have flew back a lot farther than that from a DD punch. I wonder if it's possible that he hit her and before she flew back any further, he hit her (while in mid air and flying back) with the van. If that were the case, that's just another example of superspeed.
