i liked that too.. made it much better for Cap to use his shield better

Yah, that made his shield feel more practical

It's tailored for each country. The UK, for example, has one of the World Cup finals on there as well as the Beatles. It's pretty cool, but some of the entries are a little strange. I mean, why the hell would Captain America care about a twenty year old soccer match?
For our one we had Steve Irwin, Skippy The bush Kangaroo,Tim Tam's & AC/DC.
Just watched it. It was awesome. Objectively speaking it really is better than Avengers. And I'm not even a Cap fan. The only thing Avengers hold over this movie is.. well, Avengers. The EPICness of bringing all the heroes into one movie. Other than that Cap 2 was better IMO, very well written, acted, the action scenes were all amazing. Great plot. And unlike say Iron Man and Thor movies no boring pointless scenes. Going to watch again, easily one of the best Marvel movies to date.

Agreed. Cap 2 was all kinds of awesome. 👆

The fight on the bridge was the best. Sadly I missed the after credit scene.

Almost couldn't post that with a straight face. 😛
That entire movie was good. It seems that Marvel/Disney know how to give people what they want to see without being too gratuitous. 👆

How can you miss the after credit scene? (Both of them?)

shall i spoiler them for you?? 😄
So, After watching this movie for the third time (yes, I love it that much, and will probably watch it once more), I think I picked up on a couple of things.
Spoiler:
1. Black Widow used an "emp" type device (probably the same type she threw onto Winter Soldier's arm) on herself at the end, thus disabling the "chest hole burning device" that Pierce had her pin on. It bought Fury enough time to kill pierce before he could reboot it. The first time I watched it I thought she just somehow tanked the same device that had killed the 3 other council members...which would have been stupid.2. I noticed that the Hellicariers locked onto some pretty key members in Marvel, including Tony Stark! if you look carefully you can see Stark Tower and a quick name flash... Also President Ellis was targeted as well as others that I couldn't make out.

I finally got around to seeing this. I think my expectations were too high after reading everybody else's reviews. It was good, but I suppose I wanted great and it wasn't. Fight scenes kicked major butt, but I thought the movie dragged a couple of times. I realize they need to set things up, but the fact that a teenage kid fell asleep beside us and the yawning from my wife became aggravating, I would say it could have stood to be a little more interesting at times.
It was a good, but I like some other comic movies a lot better.

Interesting how people let the rest of the audience effect their viewing pleasure. I remember watching The Amazing Spiderman, and my friend didn't like it because he didn't feel the same excitement from the audience that he did when watching The Avengers.
When I watched it a second time with my cousin, the audience wad a lot more hyped, and he loved it.

I kind of see what your saying. I'll be honest and tell you that I enjoy movies much more on TV when i'm laying on my couch. Putting that aside though, the snoring and the yawning were just example of how slow the movie was at times. They didn't detect from my viewing enjoyment. As for my wife being aggravating, she was purposely doing it after awhile to just poke fun at me. I don't take her seriously when it comes to superhero movies.
