Sort of. A couple internet stores d*cked me over last year and didn't send me stuff in time, so I have a fully functional steampunk costume waiting to be used. Not sure if I'm doing that, or coming up with something new. No good comic ideas right now though. I've been on a comic hiatus ever since Doctor Who a few years back.
For what it's worth, I think the tier thread was/is a great source. Sure people argued some of the character placements, but at the time it was more accurate than not, imo . Hell, many of us still reference it to this day.
I do think that if we were to attempt another tier thread, it would be a good idea to gather up a core group of posters that can deliberate with one another based on their cumulative knowledge, and/or knowledge/info presented by others, to form a generalized consensus regarding where a given character should be ranked. That's one of the reasons the original thread didn't work, imo-- random people posted in the thread, other random people agreed/disagreed with said poster, and Digi had to try and sort through the chaos and make a final ruling. Not very organized.
I think the ranking system itself should stay the same, though(ie. mid-meta, low-herald, trans-level, etc.) It'd be a pain in the ass if it were more complicated then that, me thinks.
Just make sure it's in a forum I am physically incapable of modding, so I'm not required or expected to do anything with it. I'm also preemptively turning down any invitation to your council.

Ha. You're acting like I gave up on Halloween. Part of me taking the holiday seriously is that I only do costumes that I'm really excited about, or ones that I can do "right." I happened to have a lot of untapped comic costume ideas for years, then my more exciting ideas were non-comic for a while (or failed horribly, like my attempt at a Kingpin costume).

A champ has yet to be dethroned . Champs also have advantages by having most of their scans together leaving more time to find newer scans or scans they never got to in time. Don't forget once a champ's free ride of a month is over, and they're challenged they still have 2 weeks to prepare before accepting the challenge.
In other words, champs have 2 weeks to accept before they're stripped. On another note this whole tourny was created with the idea that it would have a slight advantage for a challenger. It's made that way to keep the traffic up and motivate newer debaters that normally would not be interested in long delayed tourneys that seem to have no end.
