Smurph, I'd face you, but I fear becoming too involved. Had I lost the Thor match, I'd probably be game.
That, and I suck balls at low herald. No idea who I'd pick.

Who are you considering using?
In an unclaimed tier, you don't have to announce your pick. Revealing this would give up an advantage.
I'm game, of course. I feel like Luke's days are numbered, but I picked him knowing he was rounded enough to take on a variety of opponents.

Yeah but I would only agree to a debate if I knew who I was facing, because I have a Low Herald character I could use but there are some characters I know he wouldn't do well against, and if it turns out I was facing one of them I'd probably just give up.
Fair enough. It's still no reason for him to reveal his pick. Because, from his perspective, the only way you face him is if you see his pick and say "Oh, I'd do well against him." Not an inspiring start to a match.

I hope you get to use whoever you're thinking of. But I doubt you'll have the benefit of knowing your opponent first, if it's the first match at low herald.

I'll scan my brain for solid high meta choices and hopefully I'll have an official challenge for you soon.
Nah. Leo told me his pick upon issuing his challenge for my Mid Herald belt.
Digi, I know you've prepped for this character before, so it might not be my wisest pick but I relish the opportunity to use him in a battlezone match, SO....
I pick Sandy Hawkins
I'd like to have a magic-themed battlezone proposed with the following stipulations:
1. The cap is high meta. All the characters shall have the powers of magical origin/magic-related.
2. Teams of three are used. Mixed genre is allowed, however the ratio is "2 comic characters+one mixed-genre one".
3. Prep-time is allowed, one hour per team (no use of time manipulation and/or superspeed to work around this cap, in this case the hour is counted as subjective time for characters).
4. No one-hit kill tactics of any origin that can't be reasonably defended against (that covers many things from offensive use of time manipulation to teleporting opponents' hearts and brains from their bodies).
5. Summons/constructs are allowed, 10 per team, capped at high meta level as well (so if somebody drafts Bayonetta for their mixed genre team member he won't be able to use Queen Sheba summon)
6. "One hour KO" rule - an attack that leaves a character down for one hour regardless of whether he/she recovers from it or not shall count as legal knockout for the match purposes.
7. Superspeed is capped at Mach 5.
8. Teleporting is allowed, but no BFR/self-BFR is allowed.
9. Psychic attacks/possessions are legal only as long as they don't violate "one hit-kill rule".
10. No offensive matter manipulation.

Maybe more, if I find anybody interested in this.
