Could we set the start date for this shindig to Thursday? I know it's a little later than anticipated, but work just kicked up a notch and I've reserved some free time for Wednesday.

When you say speed is capped, does that mean any character who is faster than that is disqualified, or characters have their speed limited to that level?

Historically, they've been banned. Otherwise you could, for example, pick Flash and have him operate exactly at the speed cap at all time...an obvious exploit.

So anyway, is there a holdup? Waiting on judges, writeups? I thought the match would be up by now.

I'm still waiting on the write up from Existere and I'm looking for one more judge.

Do we have a list of who has what tier and with what character?

Was it just Joel with God Cable at Mid Herald and Digi with Luke Skywalker at High Meta?

I also have Thor at HH, I think. That all-Thor battle was for the belt.

This was boss. A shame more didn't jump on board. If anyone wants to fight me (5 posts or less only, please), let me know. I have EU Luke Skywalker at High Meta and Thor at HH. Both of those matches were as much fun as I've ever had. Leo, Damborgson, thanks again mates.

I don't even remember the writeup I sent in for Luke against Sand. I'm sure it was awesome, though. I'm also equally as sure Smurph was about to pummel me.

well, summer vacation is coming around again, so i may just be up for a rematch with you digi.... had a blast using rex last time around. still lots of guys out there that i think would be fun to use.

I want to challenge Smurph again for the mid herald title. I'd like a high herald match too, though I'm not sure if Digi would accept my challenge.

I probably would, abhi. I actually feel a lot better about defending with Thor than I do with Luke. Thor's harder to upend with a tricky matchup. As powerful and versatile as Luke is, I can't be more than 1-2 defenses away from losing that title.

If I didn't have two already, I'd jump in at a different level. But high meta is my wheelhouse, so to speak. If I'm being honest, I'd love to just camp there, or re-challenge whoever beats me. I know more good characters (and have scans to match) in it than any two other tiers combined.

Ugh. Can't believe I bailed on that Sand/Luke match. I'm the worst. Stupid life stuff.

It's cool. Like I said, despite thinking I had a chance, I wasn't overly excited about my chances. I consider it a bullet dodged.
