KMC Title Belt Championship Battlezone

Anybody has a list of posters with the title belts that they have. I would like to challenge for a belt in the future.

Technically, based on the original rules, the belt-holders automatically vacate the belt if they don't have a match after a few months. But we've largely ignored that rule, because BZs don't happen that often.

Here's the list:
High Herald - Me, with Thor
Mid Herald - Um...whoever won that Abhi/Existere debacle. I think Abhi, with Krypton Man.
Low Herald - Leo, with Kang. Although if I win our current He-Man/Godzilla matchup, I get first challenge rights to Kang.
High Meta - Me, with Luke Skywalker (EU)

I think that's it, though I may have missed one.

Alternatively, you could find someone to fight you for one of the open belts. That actually might be better, since at least Leo and I are likely to be a bit bushed after our recent matches. For example, I might take the challenge at high meta, but I'd probably just vacate if challenged at high herald, and you'd have to find someone new to face.

I'd challenge Supermutant to a BZ title match. I still haven't done one but if I could beat Supermutant who has done 2 I think I would deserve a title.

All the way until a more experience BZer comes and destroys me.

No. Tourneys never finish, they're an absolute b*tch to coordinate, and one has been begun and completed successfully about two times in the last 3-4 years, amidst numerous failures at various stages.

The entire reason the forum got behind the belt BZs is because all it requires is two people to coordinate and agree. And matches can be done in a week, instead of the months and months that tourneys inevitably take.

I'm not opposed to tourney attempts, and will always be willing to judge/help. But it's harder than ever to complete one successfully. But don't cross them with the belts. They're separate endeavors.

mid meta would be a fun title belt match and it's open. just challenge someone and claim it.

I'm actively looking to lose my high herald belt. I love Thor, but there's only so much I can handle. Consider it vacant if there's someone you want to rep and a willing partner to face you.

Not quite. It just means that you need to find someone else to face. Once there's a winner, I'd no longer have the belt.

be cool to see some new faces go for a belt. delta and gcs would be fun to read. supermutant (that's too damn long... lol) has been doing pretty well. not sure if the vixen match is done or the opponent is taking a break, but he should def take a shot at one of the belts.

I don't think it's been discussed. But it's all pretty fluid. If you formed a BZ at Trans, and adhered to the tier rankings over in the vs. forum, I'm sure we could make it for a belt.

Presumably, that isn't the entire pool to draw from. Not everyone used in BZs and tourneys has been included in the tiers thread. But if it came from off that list, we'd probably want a couple of the judges for the match to approve the pick first.

I could probably name a few non comic trans tier characters.

We try to keep it to comic characters. Anime tends to fall flat with judges, many of whom aren't as familiar with the characters. But (almost) anything goes. Hell, I used friggin' Luke Skywalker. Sure, he has comics. But probably 75% of my feats were from novels. So yeah, sky's the limit.
