Turtle power baby, movie was amazing

What did you think about Guardians? Just curious what a DC zombie thinks 😬

Jesus Christ. Must everything in this sub forum become DC vs Marvel?

Um..... ?

When was any direct statement of preference made in regards to Marvel or DC?

Was better than any of the previous live-action flicks and some of the action was outright fun to watch. It's a kid's flick though, so the plot, story and dialogue are just that.

I did enjoy that the turtles gained a massive boost in size, weight and power. Shredder was a mini-me Silver Samurai(2014), didn’t care for that much, but it made sense considering they needed a villain that could pose a threat to these super-turtles.

let them do it.. Michael Bay is laughing at each and every one of them... besides this is a kids/family film.. It isn't for grown ass men and women... since it made massive bucks at the box office this week.. there will be a sequel

If people want a Turtles movie more geared towards adults with it being more dark & gritty guess they'll have to keep waiting.

why are you even bringing it up in THIS thread. The last thing we need is Quan seeing it and mucking up other threads with his nonsense.

Take that shit elsewhere.

i enjoyed this movie, btw. Flaws be damned, it was fun and that's all i wanted and expected. You can't possibly hate this movie if you enjoyed the 90's movies.

I didn't bring it up. TH3 posted an article about Turtles beating GotG in box office for this weekend. I was wondering what his opinion of GotG was, considering he hates Marvel.

Quan really exhausted the Marvel vs DC thing, so I'm not going into that

The only thing that irritated me in this movie was that it was so damn Raph-centric. Seriously, you'd think the writers had a hard-on for Raph or something. Not only does he get his own solo arc, he also gets the best fight scenes, the best lines, the best slow-mos, and did I mention that he saves everyone at least once?

As if that wasn't enough, Leonardo felt almost deliberately pushed to the background. He did almost nothing the entire movie.

Raph is the darkest/angriest of the turtles and dark/angry is what some movie makers believe fans like the most.

Exactly, Raph is the team's Wolverine. So he got pushed to the center.

Ralph is and always has been the best turtle... Only makes seines that he got the shine. 👆

Sequel set for June 3rd 2016. Casey Jones, Bebop and Rocksteady are set to appear.

I disagree. All of the turtles were interesting in their own way. The old cartoon series showed that. In the movies, Raph only seems like the best turtle simply because the writers choose to focus and develope his character.

If theres anything that the Avengers taught us it's that it's possible to have an ensemble movie where most of the main characters are still given their chance to shine. I was hoping this movie didn't go down the Wolverine/X-men route, but unfortunately it did.

it sort of had it go down the wolverine route given how the film was written but the sequel may not be like that
