"Fantastic Four cast haven't seen the final film yet - and it's out in a few days "
When Newsbeat asked Miles Teller, who plays Reed Richards, whether he was ready to prove the critics wrong, he replied: "We haven't seen the film either."
"Rarely are films of this size critically well received," he said. "This is not a movie we're going to go on (review website) Rotten Tomatoes and it's going to be at 80 or 90 per cent."

Either there's some Amazing twist they're trying really hard to keep a secret... Or... It just sucks That Badly.

It can't be any worse than the first 2 FF film...can it?
I doubt it.

Though even if Marvel gets the rights back, assuming this film flops, why would they be willing to give FF another shot?
That's what I've been saying.
FF will be finished if this flops. But I think most the fans aren't bothered about FF, but just want FF related characters going back to Marvel. But I personally don't think Marvel needs them.

Then again if this film breaks even, Fox might just sit on the franchise for another decade.
Nah I think if this film survives at the box office, and it's received reasonably well, then they'll do the X-Men/FF Crossover.

I'll be honest in the hopes of seeing Galactus done right on the big screen, I can kind of relate to those sentiments. But if this film fails to make a profit, Marvel would have three known showings of FF not being well received by the general audience which would hurt those chances. I still think its odd that Fox has access to one of the best villains in Marvel yet doesn't can't really seem to build any positive hype around him: this time I'm talking about Doom.
Oh I totally agree. Fox doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt considering how they've literally just sat on Galactus all these years.
But I have the feeling now that they've learned a lot from their own mistakes and from Marvel's massive success. Like they're giving us Apoc now in X-Men after giving us Sentinels in the last movie and Sebastian Shaw in FC. Whilst for the Original X-Men movies, for years and years they gave us nothing but Magneto.

That would also be cool though I'm not sure how Fox would make that work: again assuming this movie makes a profit.
Yes that's the big question. How successful it will be.
But I reckon even if it only makes a small profit, they'll go ahead with it (as long as it's relatively well received). Because everyone wants a slice of the Marvel Shared Universe nowadays. And they've shown that's clearly what they're trying to do with their X-Men Universe now.

Doubt they can sit on it for a decade, rights revert back to the originator if said IP isn't used. Case in point, that ashcan film of the F4 back in tbe 90's. Seems it's around 5ish years a studio can sit on the rights.

Strange cause it's been like 8 years since that last FF movie. Not sure how they got away with that tbh.
Early buzz is pretty positive. Just like I suspected.
