That's a fair point, to an extent (Speed at a point just trumps skill).

You still can't argue Hulk's faster, based on their fight the opposite is more likely.

His ability to jump and such gives him an explosive power that Thor can't match without Mjolnir though.

Thanos deserves to be seen in the theatre, anyway. Or on an HDTV.

Catching Iron-man is an equal reaction feat to blocking energy weapons?
it's better

hulk doesn't even need to block them, only when the chitauri got sort of pissed that hulk was shitstomping (i would assume) their locker room buddies for 15 minutes, they had him pinned down, but he was completely fine.

I'm basing Hulk being faster on everything they did in the movie.

Like those times where Hulk showed he was faster in the movie.

Yea, no.

Hulk hasn't proved to be faster than Thor in close combat, the opposite seems likely. And if Thor's skills give him the edge (The way I remember him moving however indicated a speed edge), it's an irrelevant distinction.

His jumping gives him greater explosive power, but that's not the topic of contention.

Hulk grabbed Loki and beat the shit out of him before he could react.

Conversely, Thor got him locked in a cage and ejected from a ship.

Wow, Iron-man must have been moving really fast in order for catching him to be a better reaction feat than blocking energy weapons.

Not sure how that changes absolutely anything I said or how they compared to each other in close combat speed during their battle.

Loki used his illusions on Thor and as you said earlier, he's arrogant to a fault. Too busy monologuing I guess.

I'm not saying Hulk isn't fast, he is, but faster than Thor in close combat? No.

Even when Iron Man was knocking him through trees, I was enjoying the show of Thor's durability, and how all Tony was doing in the end was getting Thor pissed. By the time Cap showed up, Thor was done being reasonable. Hence the sucker hammer swing to Tony's noggin.

It changes everything, because Hulk is faster.

Was it an illusion or intangibility?

I gotta say, I love the Avengers Hulk...much better than bana hulk or norton hulk

Nope, you're wrong. Concession accepted.

Honestly? Not sure, I'd have to re-watch it. If it was the latter, than I'm even more baffled by his lack of a defense against the Hulk. He saw the f*cker coming.

I've never been wrong.

Its hard to tell what it was exactly. If it was an inllusion then where in the cage was he? If he was intangible then he teleported to the control panel, no?

Ugh.

The control panel was only like 10 feet away.

Yeah but we don't see him run/walk/leap/whatever there.

Iirc, we don't see him at all.

Didn't the camera switch over to Thor?
