Honestly, if being bathed in the Sun for a few moments was enough to amp him despite his condition, then Thor and Hulk are massively f*cked either way.

I just saw it as Superman digging dip and pushing through the pain because of the lives in danger. It's hardly an unprecedented event and the whole Superman/Jesus association was pretty heavy in this movie.

Broken off kyrponite shards still in his bodies say so.

I feel he shot past 100 percent. You don't. I just explained to you something you should have been able to comprehend on your own. Yet everyone else is idiotic.

You want to think he was past 100%

It was known in actuality, that he was NOT.

You explained nothing, I asked you several times now to explain how a 5 second sun basking up in the clouds after being nearly dead, and still having kryptonite -shards in your body constitutes an amp, and you've yet to be able to do so.

No, you did NOT just rewatch it, because if you did, you would have seen that they said the doctors removed what kryptonite shards were left within him.

Jesus f*cking christ.

I said in that moment more of the sun was getting through to him than with cloud cover. if you don't understand weather or cloud cover then don't repeat your same boring questions over and over again.

You are shown the shard of kryptonite while they doctors were nursing him back to health.

This is sad.

Except he was exposed to more sunlight and for longer exposure times than 5 seconds at OTHER points of the movie, and he was not considered amped.

Sunlight is his source of power. That's all. We all get it.

And he used that source of power for a few seconds to recharge closer to normal after being nearly dead and still less than 100%.

There was no amp beyond 100%. That's your wishful thinking.

ahh damn you are right about that. I definitely didnt rewatch taht far in lol...but either way my other points still stand...you still have not explain why superman at 100% had no powers on the island vs an injured not 100%(in your words.) superman could lift the island.

He was amped dude. Doesnt matter if he had a tiny bit of k-nite in his site. The movie clearly shows he was superior at that moment after the sun bathing then when he was 100% the first time he went to the island

BBREM this post owned you really bad

Just saying

a.) Superman could NOT have possibly been "amped" after being in earth-atmosphere sunlight for a few seconds.... Unless you think he can also become "amped" by walking around in earth-atmosphere sunlight like he had been doing for DECADES beforehand. srsly

b.) Yes, Superman DID have a shard of kryptonite still lodged in him--the doctors pulled it out of the existing injury when he was taken to the hospital... Not to mention the entire island was MADE of kryptonite.

c.) Everything points to Superman being LESS than 100% when he preformed the final feat--certainly NOT greater than 100%... He mentally pushed through the pain, as it were.

Just wondering when this happened in the movie?

You know, it happened during Superman's entire 30+ years on Earth. 🙂

Oh, and he was also above the atmosphere listening in on the planet. Meaning, he was closer to the sun.

And, when he was saving the plane/shuttle, he was higher up in the sky (high enough to see space), than he was when he was 'amping' to lift the island.

kinda

didnt see the sun anywhere when he was listen to voices with lois...it was night time...and with the plane he was not closer to the sun either. either way the only problem he had with the plane was stopping it without killing everybody on board. But by what the plane scene showed he was definitely not closer to the sun.

facepalm

facepalm

Idiot.

Um... He was not stronger, He had moved a moon in Superman IV and He lifted the San Andreas fault in Superman I

You are thinking He was stronger, but He was not.
