But by what the plane scene showed he was definitely not closer to the sun.
😂 bbrem, you poor dumb phuck.
here is superman just before he lifts the island, basking in the sun for a few seconds while there are still clouds above him;
here is superman, in an earlier part in the movie, outside of the atmosphere all together;

explain why superman at 100% had no powers on the island vs an injured not 100%(in your words.) superman could lift the island. The movie clearly shows he was superior at that moment after the sun bathing then when he was 100% the first time he went to the island

If you watch the airplane scene you will see Superman settling the shuttle in space before coming back down to rescue the plane.Superman was numerous times in space during Returns. not like it matters anyway because you guys are wrong about the "amp."
that scene has nothing to do with anything argued here...it was clearly showed that 100% supes was depowered to human level on the island....and after the he bathes in the sun like shown above he was able to lift the same island...which equals and amp

It equals a recharge, also didn't you said Comics do not work like movies?
Where it is said in movies that Superman outside atmosphere gets amped?
Where does it says He can amp beyond 100%?

😂You do realize I posted the video a few pages back, right? My screen cap takes place a few frames after yours.

And yet Supes still survived the fall. No human would survive that fall.
You don't get it do you? If Superman is in space he gets more sunlight unfiltered by the atmosphere. Its quite simple. Not like it matters because it has never been shown that "sunbathing" or whatever can amp Superman. You're using comic book knowledge and applying it to the movie while at the same time telling us "this ain't no comic."

so if he recharged to normal levels again he would have been powerless trying to pick up the island...what dont you understand about this?

And this "amp" it was stated on the movies?
You do know He lifted the San Andreas fault in Superman 1 right?
You do know He moved the moon in Superman IV right?
