What...is your point?

And who's butthurt, me, who actually broke down the entire scene to you, or you, who has no response left now that you know you are wrong and now take to backing off while shouting 'butthurt'? 😉

oo damn i feel so stupid now. Sorry for suggesting something so ridiculous like that. My bad.
Yeah, upon further review it cured him of the depression of Lois moving on with her life.

trolls feeding trolls..? wtf.

He was near death, and the sky was darkned, obscuring the sun. He went and basked in its rays momentarily. There's nothing to suggest he amped passed normal levels. You guys are just reaching. And terribly.
To be honest you both dont have valid arguments. Im staying by mine because he was unable to stand on the island let alone lift it prior to the exposure to the sun.

Superman wasn't amped. How could he be? He was just exposed to large amounts of kryptonite and stabbed by a chunk, which left a small shard inside of him. He was also beaten up while he was weakened.

Being bathed in the rays of the Sun for a few moments would have recharged him, not amped him past what he'd be in peak condition like in this battle.

Yes, exactly.

He was recharged, not amped.

Which means RECHARGED, idiot. That is the operating word.

Not 'amped'.

I pmed you about a battlezone. I didn't hear a peep from you. If I am a troll let's debate with judges. We both know you'll just hide in the shadows.

He was100% when he landed on the island(and still lost all his power). So how can you say he was not amp if he was able to lift it after the exposure.

Honestly, if being bathed in the Sun for a few moments was enough to amp him despite his condition, then Thor and Hulk are massively f*cked either way.

I just saw it as Superman digging dip and pushing through the pain because of the lives in danger. It's hardly an unprecedented event and the whole Superman/Jesus association was pretty heavy in this movie.

I have absolutely no idea what you are even attempting to say.

Maybe you could call it amped, if he somehow failed to lift the island in an earlier attempt, but he didn't.

he had no powers and was being beat up by humans. Whatever man.

He's saying it amped the nearly dead Superman. You're saying you only recognize an amp if it goes past his normal levels.

So why did he fly up past the clouds and stick his arms out in the air and close his eyes? hhmmm i wonder.

You know the difference between recharging and amp?

You have a battery and you recharge a battery to 100% loading capacity

You have Iron man and recharge him at 400%, that is an amp

Recharge is not = amp

....Isn't that the POINT?

What's the point of calling it an amp if he's not past his normal levels?

Your whole argument the entire time was that the feat was nonviable because he was 'amped'.

He was NOT.

He was less than 100% the whole time. Broken off kyrponite shards still in his bodies say so.

ok if the island was made of stone. Superman would not need the sun bathing to lift it. But the fact that it was made of kryptonite he did need the sun bathing in order to keep his strength up....otherwise he would be powerless lift the first time he landed on the island. Which is an amp

him having powers at all on the island means he was beyond 100% and amped

Superman 1 He lifted tectonic plates, lifting the island is about the same

I feel he shot past 100 percent. You don't. I just explained to you something you should have been able to comprehend on your own. Yet everyone else is idiotic.
