I agree, he probably would just kill Traya too, if he didn't see her as important to keep around.

Traya couldn't do it because her best TK feat is telekinetically using two lightsabers.

She used Vrook or whatever his name was as a handball with a gesture. It's not metric tons of pressure, but it's still pretty impressive display in combat. The Force freeze is pretty nifty too.
