Not nearly enough time showing Iron ****ing Man.
i do agree with this.

Of course you do.

I am never wrong, my son.

R-Rated #IronMan3 Fact: 1st draft of script had tons of cursing because Shane didn't believe we couldn’t say “****” all the time in a PG-13.

The movie was weak. *kanyeshrug*

Whoever was saying this was on par with Avengers or TDKR should shoot themselves.

Who's been saying that?

People on various sites I've been dwelling on. No one in particular on this site.

Its a good movie but its no where near that good.

I didn't think it was terrible but I wouldn't say it was good either.

Also, way too much Tony Stark running around not really doing shit. Not nearly enough time showing Iron ****ing Man.

Yeah. For a movie about Iron man this movie seemed to do all it could to keep Tony from being in the Iron Man armor.

They could easily have had some

Spoiler:
War Machine action when IM was out of action. Pissed me off how easy he went down.

that's a dim way of looking at it. I too wish Tony were in the armor more often in the film, but to say that the movie is about Iron Man and not Tony, is silly, because in Tony's own words...

I AM IRON MAN.

Question, why was the armors so easily shaken by extremis? In the 2nd movie whiplash's whips could cut threw cars and alot of other sturdy materials and the armor was capable of still functioning despite the damage but alot when the Extremis bad guys would just grab the armor it seemed to freeze up be the pilot be it stark/Rhodes they just stood there and took the next attack.. Often a near lethal or debilitating one. Any explanation for this?

the heat interfered with the AI would be my guess.

I assumed there was some kind of emp thing going on. The heat from the arms was so intense that it was capable of disrupting electronics, like a solar flare.

Ah makes sense. Wish they gave some effort in explaining this.. Like tony stating 'omg I spent all these sleepless nights making ironman armors but lack of field testing and thoughtout countermeasures for such a thing weren't done! Well crap in a tuna sandwich that's mighty inconvenient'

i know what you mean, but that's kinda what he does.

He makes situation-based armors... they tend to have strengths and weakness. The Mark II had that whole icing issue when he went into the upper atmosphere... he fixed that problem in all future models. The assumption can be made that when he makes another armor, he will account for the overheating issue.

Well until he does correct it I guess Human Torch would waste Iron Man.

one thing i wanted to see more of was the special abilities for the different suits, the only one i can remember showing a unique purpose was the heavy lifting one; all the rest were just unmanned drones.

Also, wasn't the stealth suit in the movie? It confused me when the kid suggested it and Tony said he'd build one... or was that a sarcastic response, like "yeah kid, beat you to it"?

Liked it overall. Second best IM flick.

Mark XI. The Dark Blue and Silver suit.
