I get it. You have no soul. Sucks to be you Mac & Me.

Didnt like Avengers?! You have no soul, Sir.

Should be a crime not to like Avengers, Iron Man and TDK.

I just saw Iron Man I was really disappointed with this film, left you leaving confused and wanting more. Through the whole movie they are giving everyone suits, everyone has superpowers and tony is usually the only guy without a suit. I love Iron Man but this didnt seem like an Iron Man film at all.

They should have spent another 6 months researching and making a better plot and released it at Christmas since also the film is set in that time.

Praying for hope returns one day for Iron Man

Saw the midnight showing and I gotta say I am disappointed. It's not a bad film, rather it's merely decent and only marginally better than IM2.

I had two major problems with it:

1st:

Spoiler:
The Mandarin twist. My problem isn't that they mangled the comic character, rather they ruined a very intriguing and awesome movie villain. Throughout the 1st half of the movie the Mandarin is very intimidating and appears to have complex motivations, however they throw this away for an unintriguing villain with rather boring motivations

2nd:

Spoiler:
Pepper Pots defeating Killian. This was utterly ridiculous and my biggest gripe. The hero is supposed to overcome the antagonist, he's not supposed to be defeated only for a secondary character to come in and do his job for him... Ugh. It reminds me of TDKR, but at least in that movie Batman was able to overcome Bane. Here, Iron Man isn't victorious but rather Pots is. Awful IMO.

Spoiler:
My problem with it was that it seemed to have been done just to make one big joke in the middle of the film. There were people laughing in the cinema but I wasn't one of them. I actually felt like facepalming. But I was in too much shock to even do that.

Spoiler:
I'm not sure why they had Killian resurrect after IM blew him up with the Mark 42. That was actually a cool way to defeat the villain.

After listing to an Empire podcast, They basically knock it on the head with the Mandarin twist

"The Marvel cinematic universe is its own thing and if something doesn't fit it they will change it"

I agree with Empire's summary & I've never read IronMan comics nor do I know of Mandarin's background....

However I just felt that the seriousness of Mandarin was weakened by the twist. The story line IMO lost it's integrity & just followed formula towards an anti-climatic end.

Here's the link with the podcast...they also have a chat with Shane Black & Drew Pearce around the 45 min mark

the movie was at-one-point 3+ hour

Man, I thought this movie was awful. Better than 2, yes, but that isn't saying much.

I liked the "funny" aspects of the film, they were at least entertaining. But as far as the movie's actual "plot"? What plot? It was all over the ****ing place.

And yeah, the Mandarin reveal blew ass. So disappointing. The "mandarin" in this film was "the mandarin" in nothing but name. I wasn't expecting a sleazy asian guy with rings that could shoot laser beams and shit, but what we got was even worse than that.

Also, way too much Tony Stark running around not really doing shit. Not nearly enough time showing Iron ****ing Man.

There's was no plot? 😐

take a few days to let the butthurt over the Mandarin subside and you'll realize it was a good movie.

Lol....another one that didn't pay attention.

.

Not you.

yeah, that's why i edited. lol

Ellen Brandt the wife of Man-Thing.......didn't even notice that one

wonder how Man-Thing would look if they put him in the Marvel cinematic universe.

I don't see why it wouldn't fit. But even if that's true then fine don't use him at all. Including his name Lol.

The nuance of English eludes you.

By "there was no plot", I meant, "the plot was ass".

Nope. What you actually wrote was, "What plot"... implying that one did not exist.

go to sleep, Blax, you're drunk.

But you gotta admit there are some things that do work in the comics but not so much for a movie.
