It would make a lot more sense than just making new Bruce Wayne- Batman movies for a third time. Plus it would be cool. A kind of amalgam of Batman and Iron Man.

Unfortunately there's zero talk of that happening now.

a friend told me that The Mandarin really isn;t the Mandarin.. if that is true, if he is some clone or doppelganger, it doesn;t make sense for Marvel to stop at Iron Man 3.. in fact doesn;t it beg for Marvel to do Iron Man 4 and have the REAL Mandarin in it?

I think you might be disappointed to the "big reveal" of The Mandarin to actually want the REAL one...

I'm just saying IMO, once The Mandarin is "revealed", the movie loses all seriousness & integrity.

I actually liked how they kept Mandarin in this film a secret but i'm sure you'll get people online flipping out over the changes

but i'll be up for the real Mandarin, Just go with his more recent appearance then the classic Fu Manchu style

While it was a fun movie with plenty of comedy and action i wasn't overly impressed with the direction it went. Beat the pants off of Ironman 2 tho that's for sure.

Espionage Political Thriller with comedic overtones.

The Mandarin was never a decent character to begin with. He was obviously mad as a hatter in his early days. And his modern incarnation was downgraded to a madman who randomly discovered power.

The choice of the film's scriptwriters made was a good one. It alleviated the seriousness of the situation and created a neutral ground and single target for Stark to focus on.

The over Fundamentalist Islamic representation of the Mandarin was nullified by the fact that AIM was just trying their best to ignite further fuel to the fire to start an arms war that they would control.

If the Mandarin was more representable by the comic's standard then the film would've lost ground as being acceptable by the masses.

We can't have a man casting Black Holes and Force Fields from his rings against Stark so early in his movies. It's just not reasonable.

They made the right choice. Though I believe if they stuck to the original Extremis story....with the right direction the film could've been better.

Uggh but I'm sorry...these super hero movies are getting old. Dark Knight was the only one I liked...the 2nd Dark Knight was terrible...Avengers was terrible. Haven't seen the Iron Man series yet though. Is it better than the other super hero stuff?

Stick to CGI animation films then. They only release about 20 a year.
