DC's Shared universe will start with...

Nah. If you set it before Man of Steel, it won't work because Man of Steel will be man's first encounter with alien life forms thus everything with Parallax couldn't have happened (which wasn't kept top secret; he attacked Coast City and tons of civilians saw him, as well as his battle with Hal). If you set it after Man of Steel, it still doesn't work because both Hal and Amanda Waller said Abin Sur was their first encounter with alien life forms. That wouldn't make sense if Man of Steel took place before the movie and Superman has been active for a while. So either way, I don't see how it can work.

So I just watched Justice League: The New Frontier.

You know, they just need to do a live action version of that and it would be awesome. It really isn't hard. DC already has great movie material from their animated films.

For some reason they think those animations won't work on the big screen.

Even the GL animated movie would have been so much better on the big screen than that rubbish they made.

Which is a shame. All-Star Superman the movie is better than any other Superman movie to date. It'll probably be better than Man of Steel. If they don't have confidence in their animation department they should collaborate with someone else. Pixar could create a beautiful Justice League movie.

It's a real shame that Frank Millar gutted the All-Star series with that atrocious raping of Batman. If they managed even half of what All-Star Superman was with the other characters they could have created real art.

I'm fine with that casting choice. Some of that is good news but it's still nothing official. I just hope they do use this MOS movie next year as a starting point for a shared universe.

im not. i really don't like jake, his sister is a better actor than he is

I think Jake is a really solid actor, though I don't know if he's good looking enough to be Bruce Wayne.

JG already played a homo in Brokeback Mountain, so the role of Batman should come naturally to him now... Imo, he was made for this part. 👆

😂

Jake is a solid choice. I doubt it will finalize, though.

a lot of people don't think that will turn out true

If he dyed his hair, I could definitely see Hammer being Bruce Wayne.

for me it would be if can actually understand the duality of the character. also I hope he does some of his own stunts if he does turn out to be the new bruce wayne/batman

I think hammer is a good actor, so I'd like to think that he's capable.

Mark Miller thinks Justice League would be better off as huge animated movie

its on his Millerworld forum someone brought it up.
