DC's Shared universe will start with...

The rebooted Batman film (won't be an origin story, but will focus on a Batman who is entering his second year as a hero) will be apart of the same universe

WB is going to reboot Batman, so mentioning Christian Bale is pointless. And just because GL failed, doesn't mean they can't make a JLA movie. Hopefully we get an announcement in a few weeks (According to Robinov)/
They wont be rebooting it for JLA that much is likely

If everything goes to plan, JLA will come first then the solo films will spin off of that. The opposite of what Disney did.

If they are hell bent on not doing a lead up of spin-offs I'd rather they do Man of Steel, World's Finest, JLA, and then Spin-offs.

I think WB would be smart to do a Superman/Batman film imo.

They need someone else superpowered so there's the potential for a fight between the heroes.

If they have Superman and Batman in the bag then they really need to work hard on doing Wonder Woman right Imo.

Which means all they have to start off JL is MOS?

That just puts them back a decade Imho.

It's not as if Bale's Batman would necessarily fit in to a JLA movie anyway.

Well they're starting from scratch right? Their only mega success up to now - Nolan's Batman, is gone.

I wouldn't mind, but they need to get a solid script together. And a clear direction.

batman is a big enough name that it won't matter, imo, especially if Nolan is attached.

If they go ahead with it, JLA has to be a success. If Avengers had bombed, Marvel would still have a healthy movie library. DC really doesn't have that, even if Man of Steel does well. And lawd, if they mess up people like Aquaman or Flash...

Q: Anything to say about an upcoming Justice League movie or a Wonder Woman movie?

Cunningham (VP of Marketing): "It's coming. The decisions have been made and we'll all know shortly. Go see Man of Steel right when it comes out."

Bit of a reach, but J'onn possibly in Man of Steel?

I would strip naked and run through the streets, making love to every man, woman and beast that crossed my path.

😂

It would be a good way to introduce J'onn to the DC cinematic Universe.

The suitability of J'onn as the DC "Nick Fury" would make it make sense, assuming it was true.

Even if Man Of Steel is a big hit that re-establishes Superman for the modern era, people need to calm down and remember that's all that's happened. Superman films used to be big and dominant in the past; they have a track record. For a greater opening up of the DC universe, nothing has put the schedule back more than the critical and financial failure of Green Lantern. The day has to come when DC & Warner Bros. can succeed with a film that has neither Superman or Batman. All the rest of the major players that are associated with the JL, they HAVE to show they can stand on their own, before this team-up can take place. Wonder Woman is the most deserving to be next.

Something is coming. I can smell it. Either a JL movie or a WF.

I agree Wonder Woman's just as important to get right as MOS if they're serious about a JL movie and producing multiple successful superhero franchises like Marvel is doing.

But I don't think GL has to be seen as such a big set back. End of the day they messed up. They have to learn from that and move on. The Incredible Hulk was a failure for Marvel (even though I actually like that movie) but they didn't just let that set them back. Not when they had such a big hit with Iron Man.
