Death of the Endless Vs Nekron Lord of the Unliving

An "Endless" stalemate of a "fight" where neither side can do anything to the other.

They get bored of it and go about their usual business.

But he isn't "just and aspect of Death". He's the darkness that existed BEFORE the Creation Event (stated on panel). He also owns 1/3 of the nether realms. The Presence rules "Heaven", Lucifer rules/ruled "Hell", Nekron rules the realm inbetween the two.

He's like a Death/Oblivion mix abstract.

True, didn't Gaiman go berserk when another writer broke Death down like this : Black Racer - Death as Inevitability, Death of the Endless - Death as Compassionate Release, Nekron - Death as the Ultimate Foe?

But anyway he's more than simply a Death abstract.

He's sentient Darkness, the empty space between atoms and planets. Aka the void.

Here he is confirming this to the Spectre -

I'm not saying he beats Death but she sure as hell isn't beating Nekron and he's in no way beneath her power wise.

I'd go with the endless, If Vertigo is anything to go by and via extension The Endless were the first beings to exist at all right after Lucifer and Michael.
