Dino's 👆

Bendis doesn't give a shit, we all get that, but this is just...I don't even know what to call it.

Well, I guess the plot moved along a bit more in this issue...

Not that it makes up for the last 4 issues of filler, but at least we're heading somewhere at this point.

details?

Not sure if I should use spoilers or not but does anyone actually care if I spoil this piece of shit story?

Anyway, " new wolverine" goes back in time to the moment "past wolverine" was about to kill hank pym and tells him that killing hank wont work. They have a little "bendis speak" about the nature of their paradox and come up with a plan for hank to create a fail safe in his ultron creation but to also have him wipe his mind of it so the timeline plays out normally without hanks new knowledge. One wolverine kills the other so theres no paradox and the issue ends with hank creating ultron.

I conclusion, we have one issue to deal with Ultron... maybe. And he's probably just going to be shut down with a button push.

Ultron has appeared in what, 1 panel? 9 issues about Ultron and he's dominated that single panel where he looks like a big trashcan.

Also, this plan doesn't really make sense, as didn't Ultron attack Earth from some undetermined point in the future? So how are they going to deactivate him when they don't know exactly where/when he is.

Then again, this is a plan from "Let's just kill Pym" Wolverine, so we can't expect too much.

I love tonys "time cant take being altered too much or it will kill us all" speech. Tell that to x-factor, kang, mephisto, apocalypse, bishop, cable, thor ,doom ,rachel summers, morgana le fay, hela, nathanial richards, trevor fitzroy, valeria richards, and loki

Time traveling has already confirmed in pretty much every issue ever in Marvel to not have an effect on anything else except maybe that universe. Hell, there's a page explaining it.

Bendis' ignorance ignored, and if this shows no real effects, then this can just be attributed to the characters not knowing how it works. Even if the failsafe is shown, then that just shows that someone time traveled to 616 and told Pym at some point in the past.

Ah, thanks for the summary 👆

If that fail safe was really put into place, I would hope that it would get whipped out a lot sooner than when Ultron is nuking the world and killing heroes left and right. Really with that type of prep Ultron would long ago have ceased to be.

So.. Wolverine pops his claws and just kills wolverine. That easy?..

I fully expect a three page explanation where Immortus sees Wolverine doing stupid stuff in the past, he facepalms because that won't change the future and actually modifies things for the lols in order to mess with Wolverine.

They should have had the other Wolverine calling out from the cave as Sue and Wolverine were leaving - 'Ummm hello... hey IDIOT I'm still alive up here! Healing factor?"

This is like if the Skrull Invasion had been a dream sequence. I feel like this is the nail in the coffin that is Marvel events.

It's bad. The story itself isn't terrible, but it should have been done in another more appropriate way instead of building up an event since Siege and having Wolverine and Sue Storm fight Dinosaurs for 9 issues.

Well, if you count some of those future Ultron-bots, he's appeared in more than one panel, which in itself is a tremendous achievement for this event, especially its troll author.

Wow, really this is such a ultimate failure in cross over events history.

This arc is nothing but epic disappointment!!!

All for nothing as the issue was leaked yesterday. Very disappointing event over all.

So terrible, but the fallout might be interesting though. Could we see Marvelman soon?
