Luke Cage is power incarnate

Takes nukes and doesn't afraid of anything.

From just a superficial glance this looks a lot like the OMAC crisis in DC.

I was reading some Heroic Age avengers and apperently Bendis has been foreshadowing this thing since the first 6 issues of HA avengers. Sure took his sweet time getting here. Overall, the story hasn't been bad, but nothing compared to what I thought such a long wait would bring.

Yeah, if you look at the "timeline" chart that's in one of those issues showcasing "future" Iron Man, you see quite a few easter eggs foreshadowing some events including AvX and Age of Ultron.

yep 👆 had some other neat stuff in there too like Fear Itself terms and even the original x-men coming back.

Even nukes don't stop Cage. A nuke like that would have flat out killed Thor. Not Cage though, he's too damn tough for that. The laser blast that killed She-Hulk? It would have bounced off Cage's shiny bald head leaving barely a singe mark.

An attack like that is probably what Ultron used to kill Thor in the first place. Cage is they guy who'll take Thanos down in "Infinity" probably.

Infinity is being written Hickman, not Bendis.

Does it matter anymore? Cage is borderline abstract at this point

And our hope for tomorrow lies in that truth

lol

The crazy thing is that Cage not just survived the nuke, but had the stamina/endurance to find his way to a plane, escape New York, crash in the Savage Land, and then crawl for miles until he met Ka-Zar. There have been times when legitimate heralds have been struck with nukes and have been KO'd.

And then She-Hulk gets shot through the head by a random Ultron drone's laser.

Because he had a delayed death from a nuclear explosion?

Edit: It's not like Hickman is gonna Franklinize Cage or something like that. I doubt Cage is even gonna have any supporting(let alone major) character role in Infinity(if he's even part of it to begin with).

Hmm, sometimes I can't project sarcasm over the internet very well...>_>

I get your sarcasm, what I don't get is why people are b1tching about this shit even now. I admit I myself railed against Bendis(the only time I have regarding such an incident) in the Character Ownage thread, but I've come to realize that Bendis will be Bendis and he'll continue to do stuff like this with his pets.

I guess we all need to get used to it.

It's pretty obvious from his history that he love cuddling his street and metas, so much so that something like this really isn't all that unexpected. But so what? It's still Luke Cage tanking something that should outright kill him, has posed a serious threat to some in the herald tier, and even with Bendisfoce, is above anything he's dealt with in the past. Regardless of it being Bendis, it's still ***** worthy.

So I guess we all need to get used to that.

Literally, how retarded is Wolverine in this last issue?

He's been a superhero long enough and seen enough that he should know that

Spoiler:
going back and killing Hank, someone who has helped save the world/universe many times
is a terrible, terrible idea.

Also, anyone else think that we could have easily got to where we are now with like, two less issues?
