Jim Starlin's THE INFINITY REVELATION

http://www.newsarama.com/19913-jim-starlin-thanos-reunite-for-2014-s-the-infinity-revelation.html

I have no clue how Starlin's Thanos graphic novel will fit into continuity.

Duh, he would find another omnipotent artifact and it would be added later in a comic to show its canon.

Yeah, i saw that a while back, Living Tribunal and the abstracts are included as well:

Starlin sure knows how to pen Thanos. Love that he's back.

From ICT, this made me laugh.

So lets all guess at which elements are going to be included here.

At a guess

- Some number of previous Thanos appearances will be somehow dismissed as nonsense or out of continuity

- Thanos will 'outsmart' a number of quite dumb characters in a number of quite dumb ways. Others will fawn over his brilliance.

- Thanos will have an impressive physical showing or two

- Thanos will gain some sort of cosmic power source that is actually much more powerful than heretofore known power sources, despite having never been mentioned

- "Rocket Raccoon" will take on the voice of Pip the Troll

- Drax will become much more outwardly enraged than more recent, cold and calculating versions

- The universe 'will change' in a way that has no impact on the universe

- Cosmic entities will look the stupidest of all

Additions/subtractions?

Nice. I'm up for some Thanos wanking.

Sadly, it's all so very true. But I had to laugh too.

Especially the parts about 'outsmarting' dumb characters in dumb ways, and the Cosmic entities. Be prepared for everyone outside Thanos and Warlock to drop IQs down to single digits for this story.

Starlin is such a hack these days.

So universal change means Thanos will pretty much get an artifact?

Meh

Thanos is revealed to be a figment of Iron Man's imagination.

The big problem about this development is that how it's going to pan out in the near future is too predictable. Starlin is going to recycle the same crap plot for what, the 20th time this time?

That is pretty much spot-on, sadly speaking.

The big question is, who is going to own Eternity this time?

Marvel.com: They get roughed up?

Jim Starlin: They're dealing with Thanos. Everybody gets beat up. He doesn't play too gently. Ronan has it the worst though. That said it’s mainly Thanos' and Adam Warlock's story.

Halfway through this story, Thanos has a confrontation with the Annihilators, and I started feeling terrible because I was treating Beta Ray Bill so badly.

😂

Oh starlin.
