Is Bendis still writing GOTG? I was collecting it and then Bendis annoyed me with his writing so I dropped the title. I used to hear people on forums complaining about how Bendis has no respect for continuity in history or character behaviour. I saw were people were coming from but I didn't get it until Bendis really really annoyed me. It's fine when he does it to other characters but when he does it to one of your favourite titles it smarts.
EDIT: Well I guess that answers the question about is he still wiritng it, but then you get these situations were one writer does something bad then everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

Some Thing looking fellow with Thing colors but a black face is being scurried out by a guy with a kkk mask. This is not Thing
The eye is said to be a bomb now, however this seems metaphorical as in the secrets all go boom.
The guy with the kkk mask who is seemingly behind it all is the ****ing Orb. The Orb. That guy.
Out of god damned nowhere
Not sure how I feel about this but the event is suddenly more interesting
