Marvel NOW

That GotG cover with the originals in the background is dope. Is that an alternative cover? I might as well buy it for its sheer pimpness.

So that looks like Iron Man (Who seems to part mechanical), Thor (Without Mjolnir), a new Captain America, Steve Rogers without the Super Soldier serum and the Hulk (Probably missing Banner)?

Thanos, Proxima, Corvus, Terrax, Namor (LOL, this guy), and someone else I can't make out (Maximus).

This should be a really interesting set of issues.....

holy f, is anyone else tired of the direction of avengers and new avengers?? i'm sick of all the moping in new avengers and i really need to see black swan do something more than speak cryptically. and seriously--another punch up between tony and cap?? does marvel know how old that schtick has become? not sure what the final solution is going to end up being for the whole collapsing multiverse, but i really can't wait until it gets settled.... oi vey. end rant.

The original team is also getting their own book, Not sure if you've heard about that.

A third wave of Marvel Now! titles on the way

Yet another book starting again

Superior Iron Man

Not interested. Constantly restarting a book makes me less excited about a series.

I'll most likely get

but yeah i too am getting sick of the new trend

A writer is finished on the book, Lets restart it with a new writer.

The Marvel people say they'll now have 10 female-solo ongoings:

Black Widow, She Hulk, Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Electra, Storm, Thor, Angela, Spider-Woman, and I think the Princess Leia comic is the 10th.

Nice work Marvel, leaving DC in the dust 🙂 I think that's about twice as many (Batgirl, Batwoman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn).

Wouldn't mind checking out the current Black Widow book, I've heard good things.

For me, Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel, She-Hulk, *probably* Storm, and I'm going to wait a little on the others.

Spider-Woman is also getting an ongoing

i just don't see the point of starting up new books now with the supposed reboot planned.

Maybe they happen after the reboot? I mean, some titles are pretty suspicious such as the old GotG book.

That's a big sign that the reboot rumor is bunk.

You don't launch 5+ books *right* before a reboot.

"Oh yes, we're going to give Storm/Elektra/Widow/Angela/Spider-Woman new ongoing books, but they'll only last 5 issues each."

I could maybe, *maybe* see that from DC, but Marvel? The company that plans ahead? No, it's not happening.

Storm, Elektra, Widow, Angela and Spider-Woman are all getting their own book?

What a disaster!

Out of all those the only one that I feel has anyone hope of making it is Spider-Woman's, and that's just because her origin one-shot was great.

How is that a disaster? No one's forcing you to read them, and they aren't out so it's hard to preemptively judge quality.

Storm is the one of most interest to me.

Wow a Scott Lang solo book? I bet it won't make 14 issues. I guess you have to hype that garbage movie somehow.

I think that supposed "reboot" is only going to affect the books written by Hickman.

Wow..

I used to love Remender's stuff, but his CA stuff is terrible.

I haven't read any of his CA stuff. I think most writers have a certain type of character/characters/story they excel at, while not being so hot at the rest.

Gail Simone's Birds of Prey was awesome, but I thought her Wonder Woman was mostly stupid. Bendis is great on Daredevil, but I wish he'd stay away from X-Men.....or any team book really. His style doesn't suit them.
