Marvel NOW

It's not necessarily a bad story, it's just that some of the characterizations are off.

I'll probably wait for the trades of it if i miss out on too much of the main book.

Been some more of those teasers

they're going to revisit or do another Avengers vs X-Men

and i've also seen Age of Apocaypse, If its another book hope it lasts.

Soooo.. are they rebooting everything in 2015 like DC did?

I call bs on that

seems to be mainly to do with Hickman's books that thing.

I hope you're right.

How did the Hulk's concoction work on Skaar? Did it work on him? At the end on the story his eyes were green. I wonder if that was a foreshadowing of sorts. My reason for these questions, is that if it wouldn't work on the Hulk, why would it work on his bloodline? I think that there was more to that story than meets the eye. Hopefully he didn't negate Skaar's powers. I also hope that Betty kicks his butt, and manages to deny him the opportunity of removing her power. What about Jen the original She Hulk? What the hell is Marvel doing?

Instead of coming up with great stories they seem to have hired these dumb ass writers that do nothing more than irritate the hell out of you. What happened to plot artists like Claremont when he had his run with the X-Men, and Simonson, Byrne, and others that made you want to read the next issue?

Claremont's still around but his writings gone to shit, Not sure if his writing improved on that Nightcrawler book.

People here called it already, but this sounds even more shitty now that it's read:

🙁

would've liked it if some of those teasers were new ongoing's.

Current writers at Marvel are a bit too in love with alternate realities. House of M was cute, but then events like Age of Ultron had to introduce their own alternate futures... What's even the point? Marvel is so rigid with their status quo that the writers will do stupid to ignore it, it'd seem.

not sure how many of you have been following gotg v3, but (SPOILERS)

.....that cancerverse revelation? it sucked A$$!!! what the hell?? it's like they couldn't actually think of anything plausible so they just kept saying--"we don't really know how anything REALLY works!"

i was actually excited to find out what happened to rider and how thanos and the others escaped. but THAT explanation was assinine. right til then i LOVED the new gotg book but that original sin arc was awful. we finally see thanos die however many times but, of course, no one can REALLY die there. we find out he....really never had a clue how to use the IG, or the cube, or....anything else, apparently??! way to demean those previous arcs marvel. 👆

if that isn't stupid enough, then he fights alongside the guardians against the revengers for what? HOURS, and they can't win. then cap gets the cube and thanos is ALONE against them and he WINS in seconds, off panel??? holy f. and how the hell did he come through rider's gate with drax and quill when rider was keeping him in the cancerverse???

o. m. f'n. g.

soooooo stupid. why the f can marvel NOT do anything with thanos lately that does not suck??? in the avengers he's become nothing more than a psycho slaughtering planets instead of using the big brain he's famous for and trying to find a solution to the mess in the avengers books. lord knows the illuminati could use him since after 2 years they still haven't figured a damn thing out....

sigh.....marvel needs to leave thanos alone for a few years. his act, everything about him, is really really tired imo.... man that arc was disappointing. 🙁

^ As much as i give Hickman shit, He's seems to be the only who knows how to write Thanos lately not including his creator Starlin.

Who?

He did Thanos's pre-annihiltion mini and the Annihilation event.

i thought thanos was sort of a non-entity in annihilation. :/ he seemed thrown into the series just because it was 'cosmic'. been a long time since i read anything really good with thanos in it. his recent power-up adventure with warlock kinda sucked imo as well, and that was starlin. honestly, all his power ups and failures have just complicated the sh!t out of the character to the point where it seems no one knows just WHAT he is anymore. marvel really should retire him for a while. it was so cool when he was brought back in the ss series, but since then it's been one power up after another and back and forth with his character to the point that he's a mess, frankly.
