Wanda is pretty much their plot-based kryptonite , so I wouldn't really bring her up .
Hawkeye got incinerated . Emma not telepathically sensing(despite the fact that her psychic abilities were logically being AUGMENTED by a PSIONIC ENTITY nonetheless) his attack is standard case of comicbook PIS , just as Thor getting beaten by a regular Rachel is PIS .

(On a sidenote : Maybe that Sinister incident explains that her TP , having been amped as such , is so strong that she can't use it extensively w/o killing someone . Just like a Kryptonian , who if they aren't careful , could smash a human into smithereens just by touching them .)

No, I read the spoilers on CBR

Thor vs Emma Frost
- Emma and Thor trash talk themselves.
- Emma tries to get into Thor's mind but his absolutely no effect. Emma screams "oh, god"
-Thor smashes Emma into the ground.
-Emma is on the floor moaning (not in a suggestive way) and Thor is about to finish her off.
-Emma turns into diamond form catches Thor's hand and talks more trash to him. The highlight of which is Emma asking if he's wished a woman would grab him on all fours and hold his mane of hair.
- Thor smashes Emma into pieces and part of her goes into orbit. Thor thinks the battle is won.
- Emma's bits rain back down and smash into Thor leaving him on his knees.
- Emma tells him the force inside her isn't so easily beaten.
- Emma physically beats the living crap out of him
- Emma leaves Thor unconscious and wishes she faced someone with a little more thunder.
Winner: Emma Frost. She really humiliates Thor badly in this issue.

I would look for the scans.

Well that was by far Thor's best showing against any of the Phoenix Avatars.

He at least lasted more than one panel.

I read it, it's no where near as bad as some people are making it out to be. Thor was completely dominating her for the first 2/3rds of the fight, but he made the huge mistake of completely letting his guard down near the end when he thought he won.

Odd fight. Anyone find it strange that Rachel sans PF can get into Thor's mind and not get disoriented, yet Emma with PF exclaims 'oh god' as if she can't handle what she sees?

Looks like she was playing with him and then she got bored and put her foot down...............literally.

Emma has very few experiences, in dealing with the inter-workings of a God Mind. Rachel has had plenty.
