i'm not lost at all. 😐 i've been talking about their overall feats from the start as part of the argument. and no, colossus didn't beat savage hulk. he briefly put him down, that's it. colossus has never beaten thing under his own power, and when thing fought gladiator, he got beaten very, very badly.because gladiator would get weaker over time...
cannonball and gambit are low showings. using them is just trying to make gladiator look bad, tbh.
you posted a scan with a fight , then you discuss the fight not the way it is portrayed but the wau you think it should have been based on your overall understanding about the characters, so why bring the fight in the first place if you are not going to discuss it?
facts are colossus was hurting hulk and put him down on his ass, its way more than gladiator was ever able to do to him.
actually colossus and thing had a fight back in uncanny x - men old comics and colossus had the upper hand, colossus beat sasquach as well, and of course he got the feat of going toe 2 toe with gladiator 🙂
so do you think if colossus will beat him up right at the start he will not be effected by his punches?
well they are still part of what happened , canonball absorbed his energy and used it against him , gambit releasing a full deck on him and hurting him is indeed a PIS however just pointed out the fact that gladiator is just a character that gets beat up by almost anyone.

What issue # was the uncanny xmen that colossus and Ben had fought prior to avx that's a new one on me.

I was discussing the fight, but why continue when our perceptions of it are so radically different? It gets us nowhere.

you were discussing the fight with biased background as i pointed out, you can believe gladiator is more powerful however the fight should be seen as it is and in this particular fight they were evenly matched for a while.

How am I anymore biased than you are?
again you lost me, i was talking about the fight you postyed, i was looking at the fight just the way it is, you admited yourself taking overall consideretions into this fight and therefor not being able to see it just the way it is a stalemate until the building collapsed on them.

I think i'm seeing the fight the way it is, so how is my opinion any less valid than yours?

It was imo.
how can you say that when they were standing on even ground and exchanging blow for blow without the scans showing anyone gaining any upper hand or advantage? even narration state that the victor was desided by that collapsing building, of course that means gladiator was more durable however it doesnt change the fact that for a while colossus was going toe 2 toe with glads.

Because I don't see it the way you do.
I never stated that Gladiator won the fight by beating up Colossus.
